BBC One has now confirmed and announced an entry from Genesis
Scott Mills still have his passion to go back to his old days. Therefore, his advice for the band was to kick butt for their comeback.
He said: "Now we've been into many categories ourselves. Just to show our own challengeable experience and when hits were the old times. We will bring it back again. Once and for all!".

ISL5 have decided to opt for an internal selection this edition. The artist chosen to represent Iceland is... Ásgeir Trausti!

His song entry has also been chosen internally by the Icelandic jury. The song is called Dýrð í dauðaþögn. You can listen to his entry here:

Ásgeir Trausti is an Icelandic solo singer whose music is described as melodic folk. He also plays guitar in the Icelandic band The Lovely Lion. His debut album is Dýrð í dauðaþögn, the lead single from which, "Sumargestur", made number two on the Tónlist, the official Icelandic Singles Chart, followed up with the single "Leyndarmál". Dýrð í dauðaþögn was nominated for the 2012 Nordic Music Prize.

Denmark is going R&B in the 5th edition of EASC. DrømTV has internally-selected the Danish-Hawaiian hip hop and pop singer-producer Joey Moe (along with Michell Berthou) to represent Denmark with the song, 9MM.
