In greece it is called "Profiterole" A profiterole, cream puff (US) or choux à la crème is a choux pastry ball filled with whipped cream, pastry cream, or ice cream. The puffs may be decorated or left plain or garnished with chocolate sauce, caramel, or a dusting of powdered sugar. The term profiterole is traditionally used for small versions filled with whipped ice cream and topped with chocolate although the usage varies and can include other fillings.Search it on wikipedia

The most American dessert I can think of is pie. I'm pretty sure it's purely American Cherry- my favorite Apple- the general favorite Blueberry- my second favorite Pie is especially good with ice cream on the side or whip cream on top Except for, in my opinion, pumpkin pie. I hate pmpkin pie. Americans typical eat it at Thanksgiving time, which is a holiday that happens on the last Thursday of every November...which is tomorrow :/
