For example? Geography! I really love it and it's easy for me. Civic, Social and Political Education (CSPE) is also quite easy. And business, too.. I remember during 5-6(!) years no one was better in Geography than me and of course I loved it. What do you have to do in business? Things like writing letters and so on maybe ...

I did some in December, not all my subjects then in December it was in all but two, and now in March it will be all 10 ._. My real exams in May/June will have about 16 exams overall 16? I do less.. but some subjects have ''Paper 1'' or ''Paper 2'' like English, Business, Maths (hate paper 1, too hard for me), Irish I have two papers for most of my exams. It's 3 for Science, 2 for History, R.E, Geography and Maths, 1 for English Literature, English Language and ICT and none for Drama Now I count that's 15 Do you choose some subjects to do? I got to choose 4 on top of four compulsory subjects.

It's mock exams here too (that's what they are called) however, we do one set In December, we have christmas tests, which I don't understand why we should have them when the mocks were two months away, but nevertheless, it could be described as mocks. But I'm hating this week so far Only Irish out of my hated subjects is left.. then easy for me subjects I did some in December, not all my subjects then in December it was in all but two, and now in March it will be all 10 ._. My real exams in May/June will have about 16 exams overall You will have 16 exams ? During the almost 12 years I'm in school I had maybe this number of school subjects in total.

Letter writing sometimes But since I have not made it into 5th year I can't choose Accounting or Economics, I have to do both but combined into one subject, Business studies! I used to hate it, but now I love it (final accounts, information technology, cash books, income, foreign trade are my favourite topics in my book )

Once I do the junior certificate (state exam) and go onto 5th year (3rd year now, not doing 4th, it's transition year and is not compulsory) I can choose other subjects to do, and drop subjects. I have to do: English, Irish, Maths and Religion ( ) and then I can choose other subjects to do, including science subjects (chemistry, biology, physics) geography, accounting, French or Spanish (i want to do a different language, lol these are boring..) etc. I will get to choose them after the state exam I will sure be looking at subjects I want to do and not want to do..

Sounds like the GCSE system here; when I was in year 9 (aged 14) I choose my GCSE subjects (I will get a GCSE in each subject). Next year I'll be doing A-Levels, which are only four subjects (along with an additional 5th in German), which I've chosen to be English Literature, Religious Studies, Philosophy and History ; there were no compulsory subjects
