These are the prelims, so our school makes these up They're to see if we're capable of continuing the SQA course in time for May My final exams will be with the SQA, yes. I swear to goodness, some of the questions they make are deliberately made to trick us out

Don't know about my mocks yet. My school is making the timetable ofc But for the real thing I have such subjects like Irish (Paper 2) and BIOLOGY on the same day - the one with the most content obvs. Also after French on the 15th I don't have exams until 20th. My final exam in those is on 20th June.

Well, I got my results in from my final exams. I guess I didn't take them as seriously as I should have (and this reflected in my results), because I had passed the year at the highest level possible before my exams began (meaning I could have not showed up to any of my exams and still passed at the highest level ). My physics results were a lot better than I expected though; you'd expect a student who absolutely hated the subject but was forced to take it who subsequently took every opportunity he had in the class to catch up on his sleep and hardly do his homework or classwork to fail all his class but I actually only failed one paper and passed two at the highest level possible I would post my full results here but since New Zealand's grading system is completely different, I'll just post my general results. Overall New Zealand Qualifications Framework Registered Qualifications National Certificate of Educational Achievement (Level 1) achieved with excellence (13 October 2015) Individual courses Course EndorsementsEconomics Endorsed with merit at level 1 (22 December 2015) English Endorsed with excellence at level 1 (21 December 2015) Geography Endorsed with excellence at level 1 (21 December 2015) Mathematics Endorsed with merit at level 1 (17 November 2015) Science-Biological Endorsed with merit at level 1 (21 December 2015) And I didn't get anything for Physics because my results were a mixed bag, and you had to pass every paper with excellence to get the endorsement And I guess when I compare my results from throughout the year to my exam results, you can really see the difference: Internals (During the year)Excellence: 60 Merit: 23 Achieved: 3 Not Achieved: 0 Externals (EOY exams)Excellence: 8 Merit: 22 Achieved: 33 Not Achieved: 4 I guess my results heavily reflected my school year in 2015 as a whole - There were distractions everywhere and I had succumbed to them, I was always thinking of other people and not putting myself first and just had an overall 'whatever happens, happens' attitude rather than an 'in it to win it' attitude. I know this year will be a lot better, I can just feel it.

PRELIM RESULTSModern Studies - 97% French - 90% Administration - 87% (even though i hate the subject lmao) Music (Conceptual) - 85% Maths - 84% Biology - 73% (i stg i was just 2 marks away from an A) English - 63% (don't know what happened here lmao) Chemistry - 55% (same here tbh) Interesting fact: they thought I cheated in the Modern Studies exam because I got a really high mark All in all, I'm really proud of myself since I passed all my prelims, so the exams should be even better for me
