13 days until results :X
I just hope I get enough points for my course. I'm confident that I did though.

Less than 48 hours until the Scottish results day! I'll receive my results via email from 8am on Tuesday, and then by post at around 12pm on the same day. This applies for every other Scottish student sitting an exam because there's only one exam board here - the fucking evil SQA I'm quite nervous but at the same time I'm really eager to see my results I sat 8 exams this year, and although these exams are the least important, if I don't get an A or B in at least 5 of them, then I can't continue to studying my Higher subjects for Medicine. I'll just leave my grade predictions here Administration | A lmao this subject bores the fuck out of me. So glad I get to drop it this year! Biology | A I literally missed an A by 2 marks in January, but the final exam was so much easier so yay Chemistry | A or B I really feel like I've improved from the January exam, so yay! I know I've definitely done better than 55% this time lmfao English | A, B or C This is the one I feel least confident about this can go either way - I could be lucky and get an A, I could do as i expect and get a B or I could just have simply not explained lots of things correctly and get a C. I predicted my mark would be 74/100 (typically this would be a borderline B/A) but it's English.... the marks are really volatile here. French | A I love French. I think that helps. Maths | A or B I really advise you read this before you continue! Thanks to that first paper, I've lost at least 20 marks from the exam but I don't know whether that's too much to drop to a B. It probably is tbh but I'm quite positive that I wont get a C Modern Studies | A easiest subject ever lmfao Music | A I love music in general. I love performing it and studying it, it's just a great subject all around The grading system is as follows: A (100% to around 70%) B (70% to around 60%) C (60% to around 55%) D (55% to around 48%) No Award (anything lower than around 48%) The grade boundaries adjust each year for every subject and each of their respective "levels", but according to another forum that I'm on for studying tips and all that, the grade boundaries haven't adjusted too much this year (rip maths petition). I was sitting the National 5 level, and very hopefully moving onto Higher, which is equivalent to the English A-Level and American AP. I just want anything that is higher than AAAAABBC tbh It would be an absolute dream if I were to get AAAAAAAA to be honest But it's a possibility, unlike in January!

I'll predict my results too. Grading system; A1 (100-90%) A2 (85%-89) B1 (80-84) B2 (75-79) B3 (70-74) C1 (65-69) C2 (61-64) C3 (55-60) D1 (50-54) D2 (45-49) D3 (40-44) Irish - C3; it's the minimum I can get imo. I felt that while part of it was a DISASTER I feel my oral result brought me up. Maths - D1 - don't need it anyway, and I'm doing a lower level so I'm just expecting that. English - C2-C1 confident but it could go different too my minimum is a C3 but I feel that the paper went better than expected. Geography - C2 - okay when the examinations commission doesn't put sth you know on an exam you panic. I feel like some questions went weirdly but my teacher said my project could get 90 marks which would be vital French - C3-C2 any of these would be great. I love French, though my oral was a bit confusing. I felt confident with written and listening components, though. Biology - D1-C3 disaster I'd be happy with that result. Accounting - D1-C3 perhaps another disaster but it went better than I thought on the day. Nothing too complicated.. just want that C. So added up I could get 365 or 380.. both are enough to get somewhere, I just hope they will be okay. Still nervous..

O K A Y S O L M A O I'M LITERALLY FUCKING ELATED. RIGHT SO THE HIGHLIGHT OF THE DAY IS THAT I GOT AN A (!!!) IN ENGLISH AND MATHS I ALSO IMPROVED IN CHEMISTRY Overall, I'm absolutely delighted with my results. The only "downer" is the Biology result but that doesn't even matter this year - in fact, I'm still bloody happy with a B - at least I finally get to advance to my Highers for all 5 of my chosen subjects And after that Maths exam, woweee. I'm pretty damn shocked that I got an A for that But the biggest surprise was certainly getting an A in English - I thought I'd done absolutely miserably And I got an A in all the easy subjects so yasssss slay So yeah, I'm living the dream right now! The thing that makes this day much more (not excessively) saccharine is that I've been through so much over the start of this year, and literally getting these results made my day and probably the rest of my year Comparison between my prelim and final grades: AAAAABBC (Prelim) AAAAAABB (Final)

Got my results and.. I'M SO FLIPPING HAPPY I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS I got a B in Irish, English, geography and a C in everything else (French, maths, biology and accounting) and when added up I got 435 points, MUCH higher than what I need/thought I would get. I'm still in shock, really
