What he means is you can take every singer I can, and more, which gives you an advantage over me. Luxembourg has half a million people, while San Marino has under 30,000.

Would this singer be able to enter Eurolied due to the new rule? Lisa Lavie (born in Quebec) realised her debut album in 2007, it failed to chart anywhere, but she has gathered a following on Youtube and in 2007 got her most viewed video with over 7 million views. She is currently working on her second album, and is to the best of my knowledge unsigned.

Ok guys you got me started. First of all, the fact that San Marino has a population of 30.000 people doesn't mean it hasn't got singers. The same goes for Liechtenstein or for Switzerland. But of course, you have to complain only for Luxembourg, that happened to have only 3 foreign acts, and two where already eliminated, one of them beaten by a DOC Luxembourgish singer. Of course I try to avoid borrowing ( someone of you seem to prefer it, tough ) searching for Luxembourgish artists. I found only 5 artists I realy like and I put them in my NS. Results? Even if it's not finished yet, there are 5 DOC ish Luxembourgish artists and only 1 Dutch act... There are a lot of more unfair things in this contest than Luxembourg borrowing... Then again, it doesn't give me ang advantage, becausw first of all you can PM me and we can talk about what we're planning to borrow/use in national selection.. Second, you are the feeder country so it gives you a priority over my borrowed acts if you want to use them for your country. I don't even want to imagine how can James and Jan answer to all those complaints, while in other contests Lady Gaga participates for Vatican City and nobody complains. I might sound harsh but I got to tell this - you guys are always searching for arguments and discussions. -.- I'm sick of that. Oh and about the new rule.. Everybody seemed complaining about that but at the same time a lot of people use that rule as a joker card. Just lol

^ I believe that Luxembourg doesn't have an unfair advantage. There is a lot of music in both Netherlands and Belgium. Also, Luxembourg can't use musicians with Dutch descent in National selections unlike Netherlands.

1+1 confirms that it will go back once again to internal-selection due to fund shortage from helping Ukraine host JESC 2013. The broadcasting company also teased the public that the Ukrainian entry for #5 will be in the Ukrainian language, a first from the country that only used English and Russian since its debut on NVSC#1.
