Latvia: Anmary - "Beautiful Song"

Latvia has confirmed participation in Eurovision Song Contest 2012. Latvia decided their artist and song on February 18, 2012. The entry was chosen in the national selection called "Eirodziesma". There were two semifinals, one on January 7 and one on January 14 with the final held 6 weeks later. 10 songs participated in each semifinal and 5 advanced from each, making it also 10 in the final which was held in the city of Ventspils. An online selection determined the 20 songs that would participate in the Latvian national final. The voting started on October 20 and lasted until November 1.
