If you're from a country that isn't listed above, you're welcome to send us a message or write a post in this thread, expressing your interest in participating!
That means you need to have the nationality and/or have to live in the certain country for a longer time or have to have other strong relations to that country: you must be born there or have lived there for some time in the past, have strong enough roots etc (= at least parental connection usually). In any case, the admins will take the final decision based on the overall circumstances.
Once someone has taken a country, they may keep it permanently, until they become inactive (judged by the admins in each situation) or withdraw by themselves.
There's no official waiting list in WWWSC, but if your country is currently taken, you can post your interest and we'll contact you once the country becomes free. If there's more than one interested person, in the usual case we'll contact the one first who told us first.
Please note that some countries have had a higher fluctuation of players, while other countries have been taken since the beginning. Depending on the activity of the current player your future participation can be more or less realistic.
Alternatively a participation in our sub-contests (Retro and Themed WWWSC) could be doable as, at least at parts, different players and countries are present there.
We try to update this thread regularly.
