Don't say that you can't find any un-worldwide Christmas song (that you would like) in the biggest music industry in the world??? Of course I can but it's not fair if I can't send a song which I like from the United States which is - according to you - too worldwide known. I guess you only say this, because you want to win, because popular song would win for sure... if everyone would send unknown (or not so well known) songs, then everyone would have a chance to win, but if USA sends worldwide popular song, then nobody else has a chance to win, maybe except UK, because it has "Last Christmas"... And you can't disagree with this... I don't have anything against any of popular songs, but I just want this edition to be fair for everyone... And if you don't want to participate in this edition, then you have this chance to withdraw for it... But don't denie this chance for others... I'm not the only one that wants Christmas edition...

What is this for reaction? So you've Latvia, just imagine there would be a Christmas song from Latvia which was very known and you liked it very much but I should say that you shouldn't send it because it's "too known". Do you feel it's fair then? No, because you have the right to send every song which you want and I couldn't just because some other players call it "too well-known". It's the same absurdity to call a song "overused" when it has participated in only 3 not well-known contests. And yes I could withdraw and I would probably withdraw for more editions, this kind of "discussions" motivate me even more to withdraw.

Don't take this as an offence, because it's not meant like that... You should know that there's an "ANO Convention on the rights of the Child" that says about equality of everyone - so this thing I'm discussing here about is that everyone would be equal to win if there won't be popular songs That's the only case I care about in this edition... as I said - I don't have anything against popular songs and you could send them in every other edition if you want so, but, please, not in this edition...

Equality wouldn't be fairness in this situation and I'm more a proponent of fairness then of equality. I understand a American Christmas song would do it better then a Latvian one but to ban some songs from the United States to make more equality for the other countries is just not right in my honest opinion. And it's like food with me, I like more European food then food from outside Europe. So that's the same with Christmas songs for me. There are a few Christmas songs from the United States which I like, but I'm sure those would be banned and I simply don't accept that because that isn't fair for me. Or the most popular Christmas songs from other countries should be banned too, but then you stay at the niveau of well-known Christmas songs.

Well I want to send for the United States in a Christmas special All I Want For Christmas Is You by Mariah Carey.
