Mista is a common sight in the Slovakian national selection but she has stated in an interview with a radio station that she will not be competing in another national selection because she said "my music isn't respected and I am a joke". She will probably be back because she says the same every year. |

This was taken from a Slovakian celebrity magazine (not really but let's pretend) Dara Rolins, Tina and Papajam to be in the next Slovakian national selection?
Dara Rolins and Tina are two of Slovakia's best pop star women and have had many hits in Slovakia. Dara Rolins did compete once before with a disappointing result but she said "It is almost a certainty that I will compete to represent Slovakia and make my country proud but it may not happen if I get another opportunity but this is my plan at the moment. Many people are happy that she plans to represent Slovakia but many people think we should send a more traditional Slovakian band that won't blend in with the crowd.
Tina is a well known RnB artist that many Slovakians love and she is also certain that she will compete. She said to us "The NorthVision Song Contest is a great base for artists to get them selves out there and to sell their music. I spoke to my managers and they agree with me when I say that it's the best way to get a bigger fan base in Europe" to us Slovakians we will know her as the Alicia Keys of Slovakia but how will Europe take her?
Papajam is a pop group that makes Ibiza club songs that Appel to some Slovakians but not all of them. Some people call them cheap, sexist and annoying but that doesn't stop us from buying their music. We got to talk to the lead male in the group "I do it for the bitches..." Will Europe jump off their well developed bridges after hearing one verse or will the be fist pumping while they drink fruit vodka drinks? A New Singer to Fight to Represent Slovakia?
 The new Irish/American Siobhan McKenna might be planning to represent Slovakia after she teamed up with the Slovakian DJs and songwriters Mafia Corner. The song is largely unknown but she hopes that she can represent Slovakia and gain some fans in the country. We spoke to her and she said, "I'd love to represent Slovakia in the NorthVision Song Contest. It's an amazing contest and I've watched every edition. I just hope the song I made with amazing mafia corner is good enough to win the contest." The broadcaster put her on the top 20 artist to look out for in the next few years. Could this be the beginning for her career? |

Celeste Sings and Acts In A New Film Called Love on a Thread! 
Slovakia's North Vision entrant is in a new Slovakian film called Love on a Thread! It is a Slovakian fairytale story set in the Medieval times. Celeste also sang the song for the film called "Love in Your Soul".
She sounds like Marina and the Diamonds.  |

Olya Polyakova Wants to Represent Slovakia? There was a lot of confusion when the Ukrainian singer said that she wanted to represent Slovakia in the North Vision Song Contest as the foreign artist for NVSC #12. There was a lot of confusion about this but the Slovakian broadcaster said, "It is possible to let her compete but her chances of her winning are very low". Olya Polyakova has a massive fan base here in Slovakia and her songs Брошенный котёня and Russian style were in the top ten of the Slovak charts.

People around Europe have been asked to record mob dances in their cities or them dancing by themselves for the music video for Kristinia's song Ta Ne.
