 ALL THE LOVE TO NORWAY All the eyes are on Liverpool, tonight as the first semi-final of the seventh North Vision Song Contest will start in one hour from now. And it is more important for us because Norway will participate here. 23 countries will fight for only 10 tickets to the final. Norway will perform 23rd, last and we hope Maria Mena will recieve all the love from the other countries, so she can make it for the first time to the Grand Final. The Dress Rehearsals took place today & the Norwegian jury has submit their votes succesfully. The Norwegian public will have the chance to vote after the opening of the lines. The show will start at 19:00 (Norway time) and it you can see it live from NRK 1 & NRK 1 HD & from the website of NRK (nrk.no). Picture from the rehearsal today. |

PHOTOS FROM THE PERFORMANCE
Maria Mena performed "All The Love" in Liverpool on Monday.
She was wearing a black dress and her performance was like the performance of "Fuck You" in Aarhus.
She was standing in the center of the scene while she was singing with 3 backing vocals behind.

 COMPLETE LIST OF THE SONGS Today, NRK agreed with the foreign act and now the 10 songs that will fight in the fifth edition of Den Norsken Sangen are decided. An announcement thread will be made at the weekend and from Monday, the 10 songs will start being announced. The show is planned for some days before the NVSC 07 final results or even after the results, it depends on the schedule NRK will select.
The foreign singer comes from  Finland, this time. |

DELAY OF DNS In Norway, they are very happy with Maria's qualification and preparing already for the final, while the second semifinal takes place in Liverpool. But, NRK announced that the national final of DNS will be delayed for some weeks. Reasons are the preparation of Melodi Grand Prix for the Eurovision Song Contest and the standby of North Vision Song Contest when the second semifinal was delayed for days. In NRK, they're thinking they have some time to move the date for late-late March. All the songs have been announced, though. You can have a listen to them and vote for your favourite here. |

ELEVENTH SONG?
Rumours talking about an eleventh song to be added in DNS, are written in the social medias, the last hours. They're talking, about a song, that it was very requested by the public and that in the NRK offices they're discussing at the moment if they should add it. Nothing is sure, NRK will make an announcement at late night explaining the things or refute the rumours.

ELEVEN SONGS IN DNS 05
After a lot of messages from the fans to the norwegian broadcaster the last days for one song to be added, in NRK they started to think seriously for an extra addition because of this specific song. Yesterday, they had a meeting thinking if this song should be added or not, what would be the consequences etc. and they reached in a desicion to try to make 11 the songs in this edition. After this, they contacted with the singer and were waiting for an answer. The answer was YES.
We're talking for a very young and talented singer who started gaining fame only in the previous year, releasing 2 singles, participating in a national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest taking the  2nd place and reaching very good places in the charts.
We're reffering to anyone else than Adelén.
Adelén Rusillo Steen (born 4 November 1996) participated in the Norwegian national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 in  Malmö with the Spanish-influenced song "Bombo", written by Ina Wroldsen and Quiz & Larossi and came in second place.
"Bombo" went straight to number 2 on the Norwegian iTunes chart after her performance. It also appeared in VG-lista, the official Norwegian Singles Chart. The song also won the OGAE Second Chance Contest 2013. It also won the 2013 Eurodanceweb Award with the highest score ever achieved in the history of the Award.
In 2013, she signed with  Simon Fuller in an attempt to launch her globally. On 21 June 2013, a preview of the new single, "Baila Conmigo", was released on YouTube while the full version was available on iTunes.
She has a  Spanish mother and a Norwegian father.
On Friday, she released her new single "Always On My Mind" and after this it recieved many positive comments. In which she heads off into a more mature pop direction – via quite a rocked out verse and a clubbed up chorus.
"Following on from the massive ‘Bombo’ and the lesser known but equally lovable ‘Baila Conmigo’, she’s for now at least left the Spanish cliches behind, and instead presents a more universal pop song, that could well be as big a hit for her on the continent as ‘Bombo’ was last year. It gives off big summer hit vibes, and is catchy as sin. It’s as BIG as we wanted it to be, and it needed to be." said the HoD.
"Always On My Mind" will be the eleventh song in this edition's DNS. It may was a special addition for celebrating five editions of the second biggest Norwegian TV show the last months.
PS: Interview from the artists are gonna start the next days. NRK wants to introduce better all the artists to Europe, so they can vote wisely for the best candidate for NVSC.

MARIA MENA WANTS ALL THE LOVE OF EUROPE
The time has come! Maria Mena's first participation in a NVSC final is today! How does she feel?
"I don't have fear or I'm not nervous, it isn't the first concert of my carreer. Also, it is my second participation in the contest, that means that I have already performed 2 times in the Northvision stage and now I have more experience. I will give my best for my country. Our goal was to qualify and now my goal is to make the better result of Norway so far. That means 5th place but it's very very difficult. I will try and we'll see." When she was asked by reporters who is her biggest opponent she answered: "Me and myself. If I feel that I've done the best that I could then I am a winner for me." Finally, some of her favourites: "All songs are very good but if I want to wish best of luck to the talented singer from France, Indila and Laura from Finland and of course my friend from old days, Magdalena from FYR Macedonia. I've met her in Northvision 05 in Aarhus and we're still in contact. I'm happy that she's again here."
Norway starts in the unlucky number of 13 in the final of Liverpool. Molly Smitten-Downes has been confirmed as the interval act.
The show will start at 19:00 (Norway time) and will be broadcasted in NRK 1, NRK HD and in nrk.no. |

WE CARRY ON IN BOSNIA & HERZEGOVINA The show in Liverpool is over. Bosnia & Herzegovina with Maja Nurkić and the song "Carry On" is the winner and takes the contest to her homeland for the eighth edition of the North Vision Song Contest, with the hosts taking the second place. The Netherlands, France and Ukraine close the Top 5 and that means that they are already in the final of North Vision Song Contest 8.Maria Mena started very very well and after the first part was finished she was 5th with 12 points twice from Moldova and Azerbaijan. After the voting of 51 counties, she finished in the 12th place with 111 points, the 3rd best result of Norway in the competition. She was always in the left place of the scoreboard and she answered with that way to the people that were predicting Norway in the last places.
Maria Mena was more than satisfied after her second participation and now she can finally rest. DNS 05 IN 17 APRIL The rehearsals start today in Olso Spektrum for the Norwegian NS, to decide who will fly the flag in the Balcan country.
NRK announced that the show will be broadcasted live on Thursday 17th April on 20:00 CET and 11 songs will try to win the votes of the international juries.
Carl Espen (representing Norway in Eurovision Song Contest 2014) will sing at the evening, some days before his travel to Copenhagen. |

Julie travels to Stockholm tomorrow to promote "Younger" and next week she will be in Copenhagen
for the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 and to promote her song, too.
