I voted too! Congrats for a VERY strong national final I think. By the way: I wish you a Happy New Year! Isn't there always something special about every year because of the character of the animal(for example horse)? Thank you very much my friend!
We have 12 signs designated to each year in turn. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chinese_zodiac Not really that every year people do specific things in relation to the character of the animal, but you'll find that phrases including the word for the animal catch on among people as they send new year's wishes to each other.
