VOTE: Should we ban overused song?

Well, maybe you are right about not banning them, though I still would dislike the songs after hearing them too much. But that's my problem, and I just shouldn't vote for it. Only problem here is that I know lots of people will vote for it anyway, so there will be no use in what I vote there.And weren't the contests meant to be the place to discover new and original songs?
Not trying to attack people here, my excuse if you feel like I did attack you personally. I'm just trying to explain why I said that these songs should be banned.

That's exactly what I wanted to say.
It's about learning culture through music, or learning new genres and hearing new releases of artists and finding new musical talent, which might even lead to new discoveries or something.
