CONFIRMATION FOR NVSC #17
After the successful qualification of  Aliona Moon in the first semi-final (draw #14),
TeleRadio Moldova was hosting a public meeting where the confirmation
was announced.
Dennis Miljocdolar: "4 years have passed since our previous qualification
back then in  Herning with "Floorplay".
It took us two non-qualifications, one withdrawal and one PQR
to get us where we are now. We will continue."
It was also confirmed that AVEM 02 will be responsible for selecting
the next entry for Moldova. The Betting Odds
are currently predicting a possible Big 6 spot for Moldova,
which would give the selection a 50% final rate.Changes include an overall modification of the design,
a shift to M1 HD and the entire system changed.
Rumour has it that AVEM 02 will for the first time provide certain rounds
(semi finals, second chance and a grand final). The deadline for submitting
entries is set to be 21 October 2015. |

CONFIRMATION FOR NVSC #18As one of the first countries for the 18th edition
of the Northvision Song Contest,  Moldova has
already confirmed to be part of it!
Dennis Miljocdolar: "As a pre-qualified country in the Grand Final
for the 17th edition in  Switzerland - which was made
possible by Aliona Moon coming second - the popularity
of our country has increased."
"Our national selection, AVEM, has received so much positive
feedback and  Danish money, we are able to continue with
this exciting show as well!"
This statement was used to confirm the third edition
of AVEM. TeleRadio Moldova confirmed that there will be
slight changes made at the number of qualifiers and jury members
but most of the system will remain unchanged.The selection and confirmation are starting
way earlier this time, as Moldova had to apply for 7 additional days
at the NBU Council in NVSC #17 (and a similar show is going to happen this edition). |

AVEM 03: SHOW TONIGHT

Moldova will host its national selection final tonight!

hereby their participation in the upcoming edition of
Europe's most popular YouTube show!
Dennis Miljocdolar: "Our hopes are with  Sonya Kay, but regardless
if she manages to win for us all, we're part of the upcoming edition.
Our viewing numbers couldn't be higher, really!"
He also mentioned the process of selecting the entrant.

Barely any changes have been made, but as preparing a
well-produced show takes time, we'll open the applications

 CONFIRMATION FOR NVSC #20CHISINAU Republic of Moldova
After successful talks with the NBU, Moldova is eligable of participating
for the upcoming edition of Northvision Song Contest and therefore
the last country to enter the special jubilee edition.
Dennis Miljocdolar has thanked the broadcasting union for their understanding
in these dire times for the poor country and the broadcaster, promising to find
a way to repay the high debts in time. Noting the yet successful 19th place for
the international-known Nicoleta Nuca last edition, he's certain that Moldova
has found its place by now.
He also mentioned that Moldova keeps its way of selecting the entrant
in a cheaper and reduced way.
Grown to be one of the most popular national selections, AVEM will continue for the jubilee.
Having served as the national final for the 5th time, its number now officially represents
the current edition of Northvision Song Contest.
Submissions are open; may the best entry win. |

CONFIRMATION FOR NVSC #21CHISINAU Republic of Moldova
After various talks with the NBU, the broadcaster responsible for Moldova
(Teleradio-Moldova; TRM) just finished a short press conference in which
the participation for the upcoming edition of North Vision Song Contest
was confirmed.
This confirmation was not taken for granted, as due to the upcoming
debt crisis, the broadcaster faced new strikes from the North
Broadcasting Union in case all payments were not paid until the
twentieth edition was finished.
Catalin Josan (NVSC #12), one of the most outspoken supporters of the campaign.
As a response, an astonishing crowd funding took place various times
in the most populated areas in Moldova, most importantly Chisinau.
Supported by the pro-EU movement currently involving the country,
rich and poor all went on to ease the broadcasters' pressure by
donating variating amounts of money to TRM. This way, Teleradio-
Moldova was able to pay all of its most important debts in time.
Dennis Miljocdolar is confident of the situation of Moldova in
the contest, pointing out that Irina Rimes is most likely to
bring the little country its fourth Top 6 placement.
He also mentioned that Moldova slightly adjusts its way of selecting the
entrant while keeping the frame of previous selections.
It has grown to be a tradition that AVEM is being used to determine
the next entry for Moldova. The newest edition of the selection allows
more entries to compete; Moldova is now looking for up to
17 spots (previously 13) with sixteen semi-finalists and
one automatic qualifier.

CONFIRMATION FOR NVSC #22CHISINAU Republic of Moldova
One of the very last countries to confirm their involvement in the upcoming
edition, the broadcaster of Moldova (Teleradio-Moldova alias TRM) has finalized
their discussions with the NBU to highlight the participation in Bulgaria.
We've been discussing and in the end concluding our budget plans for the
upcoming seasons with the North Broadcasting Union staff and are very
happy to reveal them to the public now! We've caught up on our debts
early and even paid everything in advance.
Olivia Furtuna (The Moldovan wonderwoman), reading the script - budget cuts involve copying the Chinese way.
The anticipation for this confirmation was long-awaited, as in recent
times the country has been among the most successful ones, recently
placing just outside of the Top Ten. Local betting stations awaited
a near-victory for the famous Nicoleta Nuca, hence the disappointment
was big, yet proud.
The Head of Delegation has applauded the increase of famous
singer-songwriters trying to participate for the country, and can
finally reveal that the selection format has changed for the edition.
For the first time since Aliona Moon, the country will be selecting
its upcoming entrant internally! Furthermore, the artist-select
has performed on the Northvision stage previously with one of
their best results to date!

Confirmation for the 24th edition
Dreaming, waiting and evolving
Tonight we are glad to announce the continued participation
of a country that just had its eight final appearance in a
row. Things have bettered dramatically for Moldova, but this
recent last place (just like in Lviv) has caused some internal
chaos. Apparently sending an original band isn't helping.The second lowest amount of points in a final for Moldova - Gum Sellers (#23).
The Head of Delegation about this fiasco:
"We dreamed, we failed, but we tried. Everyone is utterly sad,
but it is in these times that we evolved the most.
If we had not failed with Dima Trofim back then,
we would never have reached the second place.
Coming last in the final is our very own gift, we
in Moldova appreciate this. Therefore, we have
decided to turn back to our roots with the
reformed selection format that was loved
so dearly by the contest community!"
The return of
The most successful selection of the country is
returning after two editions absence. Its revamped
logo symbolizes a new era for the country, and
this is highlighted with a slight change in the
rules. For the first time, a returning act has
been assigned to compete as the sole artist.
She's back and ready to chase her dreams.
Irina Rimes will compete with nine of her
songs that have been released on her first
studio album ("Despre El"). This makes her
the fourth artist to return for Moldova,
a return to the Romanian language as well
as the return to a national selection.
