2. The user that is on top of the waiting list and the current participants are able to join the draw for one of the available countries.
3. The country can participate with a broadcaster that is an active member of the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union.
4. Each head of the delegation can participate with just one country.
5. Users are allowed to apply for a draw only after competing in at least 1 edition of the contest.
6. In order to compete in an edition or withdraw, the country must confirm within the deadline.
7. Failure to present the entry within deadline will result in the disqualification of the country.
Entries:
1. Songs from Eurovision Song Contest are not allowed to take part.
2. Entries can be selected internally or with national selection.
3. The singer should be from or have strong connection with the country.
4. A band or a collaboration can represent the country if at least 1/3 of members is from the country.
5. Songs can be any length and language, and released after 2010.
6. Singers must be in present at least 16 years old to compete and at least 15 years old when the song was released.
7. Official remixes are allowed as long as they feature the original singer.
8. Covers are allowed as long as they are official singles of the singer. However, covers of popular songs are not allowed.
Originality:
To prevent the overused songs doing extremely well just because they are well-known, disadvantaging other countries, songs that meet any of the following criteria will be rejected:
1. Songs that placed top 10 in any North Vision Song Contest final. (NEW)
2. Songs that placed top 5 in Fantasia Contest and NowNewMusic Contest within the past year. (NEW)
3. Songs that took part in 3 or more contests on the forum. (NEW)
Borrowing:
All the countries must send native acts. However, the dependencies can borrow from the main country if the act has a small connection with the dependency (e.g. has lived there, has descent or grandparents)
Associate Broadcaster and Standby List:
After all the 55 spots are filled, the members who want to enter the contest must join the waiting list. However, no matter the position from the Waiting List, anyone will be able to join temporarily as an associate member in the respective edition with a country that is currently not a permanent member of the Own Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union.
An associate member joins the Standby List of the edition and will be able to fill a free spot and participate in that edition if it will have less than 48 participants. That means that if the following edition the number of participating countries will increase and exceed 48 entries, the user(s) who confirmed with an associate member will not be able to take part. The associate member user becomes a permanent member only after someone permanently withdraws from the contest.
• If the user with a "weak" country wants to take a better nation from the list, they will be able to do so, meaning that the country they owned before is being demoted to an associate member until someone else takes it.
• When someone withdraws permanently from the contest, their spot is being taken by the next user from the waiting list, who can confirm with any available country. They can either choose to keep the country owned by the previous user or pick a new one from the list. In case if the first waiting list user doesn't want any country, it's being passed on to the next and so on.
