Mihai is the host of the contest, not you. He decides what happens, not you. 3 pages were really not necessary to establish this.

Her father comes from Kefamenanu in West Timor. her father is Indonesian Timorese and reports evocating the travels she made during her childhood visiting her family in Kefamenanu ( West Timor). You can't deny that Jessica Mauboy's father comes from Kefamenanu and that Kefamenanu is in West Timor. Food has played a big part in Mauboy's childhood, from family celebrations at home to their annual family trips to Kefamenanu in West Timor, where Ferdy is from And I do it because Ferdy Mauboy was born in Kefamenanu, West Timor, in 1958. But Jessica Mauboy's father is born in West Timor in 1958, before the Portuguese revolution. And according to the Sydney Morning Herald, the family of Jessica's father comes from Kefamenanu. Don't you have anything else to say?

Mihai is the host of the contest, not you. He decides what happens, not you. 3 pages were really not necessary to establish this. He is the host, but he has to respect his own rules: 2) The singers should be from or have strong connection with the country they represent. The only thing that is 100% proved is that Jessica Mauboy has a strong relation with a country (Indonesia) that is responsible of the death of around 250,000 PEOPLE in the country she is supposed to represent.

Enough is enough. Stop getting triggered because she is representing East Timor. I know some people that don't like the concept either but they don't bitch about it for 3 pages long. Also you don't need to bring up the fact of her origin in Indonesia again and again.. I'm sure we saw it.

Born in Kefaluwhatever or not, that doesn't detract from the fact that he may have resided in East Timor as Wikipedia has implied and backed up.
For goodness sake, just stop. Don't vent your butthurt on other players.

Born in Kefaluwhatever or not, that doesn't detract from the fact that he may have been from East Timor as Wikipedia has implied and backed up. For goodness sake, just stop. Don't vent your butthurt on other players. Wake up guy! Haven't you ever seen mistakes in Wikipedia? You should know that this source is not very trustable. This is why I always try to find more reliable sources available:
1) Sites whose contents are controlled by the artist himself: official website, Facebook account, Youtube official channel... 2) Reports in official medias, especially if we can assume that the content has been given by the artist himself (like interviews)... 3) Musical blogs with large audience, unofficial websites of the artist. 4) Other sources. My first source is Ethnicelebs.com, and we can find this on her page:
Ethnicity: Indonesian, Australian Aboriginal
Mauboy is an Australian singer who was runner-up in the show, Australian Idol in 2006. She was born to an Indonesian father and an Australian Aboriginal mother. She has worked with the likes of Ludacris and Flo Rida.
If Wikipedia is used, always try to find a Wikipage in several languages and to compare the informations and the sources given on each page. You can verify by yourself:

a country (Indonesia) that is responsible of the death of around 250,000 PEOPLE in the country she is supposed to represent. and this is relevant because? Because in real life a country would never decide to send an artist from a country he has been in war with during almost 30 years.
