I'll take back immunity, Kenajabam.
Individual Immunity is back up for grabs.
Before the challenge begins, congratulations on making it to the Final Five! In a game with 20 players that are all vying for the prize, it is difficult to get lost in the strategic, social and physical aspects of the game and get voted out. You have managed to avoid that. The Final Five is seen as the stepping stone between making the merge and making the Final Tribal Council, so whether you get to the end or not, you should be proud of yourself.
Today's challenge is going to be a little different.
After 35 days of playing this game, you've probably gotten to know everyone quite well, made friends with some and maybe even alliances with others. Trust has been made, broken and lines have been drawnn. Well in today's challenge, you may want to temporarily hand over an olive branch because today you'll be playing Convict the Criminal.
In this challenge, you will be given a scenario involving your fellow tribemates. This scenario sets the scene for your challenge.
SCENARIO
You, as well as the other members of the Final Five, are all being investigated in court for a murder that took place at a party that you attended. Nobody knows who actually killed the victim, but the truth is that all five of you worked together to kill the victim, dispose of their body and cover up the murder. Since you were all in attendance at the party the night of the murder, you are naturally all suspects and are on trial. You are all afraid that you will get caught, so you all keep your mouths shut.
However as the days go by, guilt and paranoia begins to set in and you don't know if you can live with yourself knowing that you and the people around you are all murderers, but do not want to go to jail for it. The court has suddenly found evidence that could possibly prove that your group has committed the murder. You have three possible scenarios that could occur:
1 - Confess that the other person murdered the victim and shift the blame entirely onto them.
2 - Say nothing, but the person confesses that it was you who murdered the victim, shifting the blame on you.
3 - You both blame each other for the murder, holding both of you accountable.
4 - Say nothing.
HOWEVER
Consequences come with each of your options:
1 - If you blame the other person and they do not blame you, you do not get a jail sentence and walk away free. Instead, they receive a sentence of 3 years.
2 - If you say nothing but the other person blames you, you receive a jail sentence of 3 years and they walk away free.
3 - If you both blame each other, you both receive a jail sentence of 5 years.
4 - If you both say nothing, you both receive a jail sentence of 2 years.
YOUR CHALLENGE
You have been divided up into ten pairings based on the five of you - Maxim/Kenajabam, Maxim/Alex, Maxim/Mihai, Maxim/Llemian, Kenajabam/Alex, Kenajabam/Mihai, Kenajabam/Llemian, Alex/Mihai, Alex/Llemian & Mihai/Llemian, so you'll be competing four times.
Your challenge is to figure out what option you want to place on each person. Do you sell Maxim out but say nothing about Alex, or just sell both of them out? After 35 days of trusting and manipulating the people around you, it may come back to bite you in the butt. Have you betrayed to the point where people can no longer trust you?
To make it clearer - Choose whether you want to blame the other members of the Final Five or not.
The person who has the smallest jail sentence wins individual immunity and is guaranteed a spot in the Final Four.
You may talk to the other members of the Final Five and see whether you can come to a mutual agreement or successfully lie to their face, but you must remember that this challenge is about YOU and not anybody else. You are playing to win immunity for you, because without it, you could get voted out.
