MY MEMORIES OF THE GAME
My game started at Day 4, because I missed the 3 first days for medical reasons. When I arrived at my camp, I met my tribe called Randers (composed by Callum, Christian, Llemian, Marco and me). I have been welcomed very warmly by them, I didn't expect such an understanding from them, especially because they lost the victory in the first challenge only because of me.
At Day 6, the first Tribe Swap occured. I remained in Randers but with a completely new tribe (with Alex, Julian, Lefteris, Max and Maxim). My first impression wasn't the best I could have, I didn't even have time to breathe that I was already included in 2 opposite alliances. I was kinda confused. But, I realised who I trusted more. In the meantime, I found an immunity idol.
At Day 18, the second Tribe Swap happened. I left Randers for Gmunden where I met my new tribe (Christian from my first tribe, Max from my second, Jack, Matt and Selvin). We ended up directly in the tribal council and we eliminated Max because he was the weakest in challenges. But, my 4 other tribe mates were allied together, so I was in danger. At the next tribal council, it was obvious that they would all vote against me, but, I still had my idol. At Day 23, on the night before the tribal council, Matt pretended that he would save me and he created a new alliance with Christian and me, but I didn't trust it. I chosed to play my idol and I decided to eliminate Matt who was a master of strategies in my view. This move made a certain impression.
At Day 24, it was the merge. There, I have been invited in an alliance (with Alex, Julian, Maxim, and 2 other players I hadn't met yet : Mihai and Kenajabam). I felt safe, so I kinda stopped to strategize and I simply followed them. I should have been more attentive. This and the fact that I didn't win an immunity challenge are my biggest regrets of the game.
At Day 31, I tried to pick up the pieces of the alliance after the elimination of Julian, but it was useless. We were suspicious about Marco having an idol, but we tried to pretend that we wouldn't vote against him so he wouldn't use it. But someone, who was pulling the strings in the shadows, had already planned everything. I have been eliminated.
Afterwards, I joined the jury in Ponderosa, and I've had a good time there Thank you Bronson for hosting this amazing game, you did a great job
MY RELATIONSHIPS WITH THE FINALISTS
KENAJABAM
Kenajabam wasn't in my tribe in the first part of the game. Still, he was noticeable as he was already a very strong player in challenges, and, in my view, he already appeared to be smart and strategic as well. I felt like he was a big threat so I was sceptical about him.
At the merge, we ended up in the same alliance, so I had to interact with him. He finally seemed to be more reliable than I thought. When he personally told me "you can trust me" while I wasn't asking him anything, I believed it. And three days later, he organised my elimination with the other alliance with which he was working with since the start.
Yes, he can be congratulated because he managed to fool everyone with his strategy of devide and rule. And yes, Survivor is a strategic game and we sometimes have to backstab people for our own sake to go far. But I believe that to deserve the title of Sole Survivor, we have to keep at least a little bit of respectability, in my opinion.
So, dear Kenajabam, I'm asking you right now:
Whis your lack of honor, are you proud of the way you behaved during the game ?
ALEX
Alex and I were in the same tribe from Day 6 to Day 17. He was already being called a snake by some people, but I don't why but he still seemed reliable enough from my viewpoint. When we were allied secretly with both Julian and Maxim, he seemed to be as confused as me, so it reassured me. That's how we became close and that's how I knew I could trust him and count on him.
With the second Tribe Swap, we lost each other. In his new tribe, he chosed to backstab Callum. I don't know all the details because I wasn't there but I understand why he did this, because as he said, he had to make a choice. Anyway, we found each other again at the merge and we stayed allies until the end.
Yes, he didn't make big moves and he could have slayed more in challenges. And yes, as he said himself, he has been a quiet player, but he made his own way and, without using sordid mind control like his competitor did, he still managed to survive the game, and that's exactly the purpose of Survivor for me.
Alex, I don't really have any interesting question for you so I'm just gonna ask:
What are your best memories of the game ?
