International Music Festival #39!
The selected artist for
Moldova will be NATALIA GORDIENKO!
Natalia Gordienco, sometimes spelled Gordienko, born 11 December 1987, in ChiΘinΔu, is a Moldovan professional dancer and singer of Ukrainian ancestry. Natalia Gordienko was born in 1987. She sang in her school choir. She also graduated from her piano studies at music school and danced in the school's dance ensemble for 10 years. At the age of 15, she began participating in song competitions. Since 2005, Natalia Gordienko has been the singer with the band Millennium. In 2005, in the national selection for the Calea Victoriei, Millennium came third. Millennium with Natalia Gordienko were invited to participate in the Golden Stag international competition in Romania in 2005.
On May 20, 2006, she represented Moldova alongside Arsenium and Connect-R with the song Loca
at the Eurovision Song Contest 2006. The song placed 20th in the field of 24 and scored 22 points.In 2008 Gordienko received honorary title of β³Emeritus Artistβ³ of Moldova.
