In this thread, we will be making countries draws for the countries with the biggest music industries worldwide, whenever they become free, as well as their lending nations, if they have one.
List of countries requiring draws (15):
 Australia
 Brazil
 Canada
 France (+  Monaco)
 Germany
 Italy (+  San Marino)
 Japan
 South Korea
 Sweden
 United Kingdom (+  Sealand)
 United States (+ the newly added nation,  US Virgin Islands!)
All eligible members not listed are in the first come/first serve system.
If you think more countries should be added, feel free to suggest them!
Here is how draws will happen:
Whenever a country listed above becomes free, a post will be made soon to find a new HoD! The requirements to attend a draw are:
Have participated & voted in the latest edition.
Have participated for atleast 3 editions in the contest.
Then, after we have all applicants, draws will be held using random.org live on a rabb.it room (to avoid the thought of a council member trying to influence results). In case of 0 applicants, the country gets back to the first come/first serve system that edition, and if still noone claims it, a draw is repeated next edition. If there are 0 applicants for a second time in a row, the country is removed from the list of countries requiring draws.

It's a pity you scheduled a deadline before the results of this edition are known.
And I have a question: do you intend to make draws for the countries that the winners of the draws will make free or are you going to wait next edition?

You're right about the deadline - it was just my first thought that if someone wants a country they will apply for it anyway fast. Maybe I'll extend it, Idk. About the question: If the country made free is among the list of countries requiring draws, the new draws will be held this edition. |

Nobody, since the only applicant won another country. However, we decided that they won't join the contest after this continuation, not for #8 atleast.
Also, we'll cancel draws from now on since they didn't end up as we wanted them to do - so all countries are in the first come/first serve system from this point, atleast for the next few editions. Sorry for any inconvenience!

Despite the earlier announcements, we'll be back for one last draw, the US one, again following the results of the form saying the deadline should be after the results. However, all the other nations are first come/first serve, and the US Virgin Islands won't be joining, as voted in the form too.
For your chance to host the United States, send Vaggelis a PM. Applying anywhere else won't include you in the draw.
Also, the rule saying that you must have participated in 3+ editions won't be applied. Every OSF #7 participant can apply!
DEADLINE: 15/5/2018 17:00CET (It's short, but all you have to do is send me a PM telling me "I apply", so I think the deadline is OK). The results of the draw will be given in a rabb.it room shortly after that.
