I think it'll be a great show based on what we've seen from their events with the meet-ups for the pre-parties in recent years. I think the country's main places that are in the running would be Haifa, Jerusalem or Tel Aviv... But I most likely think it will take place in Jerusalem - as an Israeli newspaper even stated "Jerusalem to stage" today. Quoting the newspaper - Prior to the contest, the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement worked hard to make sure Neta didn't garner support outside of Israel. The effort failed. Big time. Neta's song "Toy" was about female empowerment and combatting the phenomenon of sexual harassment, but many saw in it a double message - Israel is not the "toy" of its regional enemies or international antagonists. The victory means that the 2019 Eurovision contest will be held in Israel, most likely in Jerusalem, giving the Holy City yet another opportunity to shine. An excited Mayor Nir Barkat told local Hebrew media following Neta's win: "The city of Jerusalem will grant any help needed in putting up Eurovision 2019 in the capital of Israel and together we will expose the beautiful face of Jerusalem to the whole world."

I'm not sure how I feel about Jerusalem. Tel Aviv is such a better city to host it in and would be much better fitting for ESC imo

I expect that Jerusalem will host it because of political reasons. However imo Tel Aviv would be the better host city and Jerusalem already hosted twice. ^^

If it's going to be Tel Aviv, I might go, I'll see. If it's going to be Jerusalem, I won't.
#LetTelAvivHost 🙏
Edit: Also question to Israeli people, wouldn't Tel Aviv be safer than Jerusalem anyway? idk 🤔

Jerusalem hosting would mean massive backlash against not just Israel but also the EBU. The IPBC and EBU should recognise that if Jerusalem hosts, there's going to be an inevitable boycott given the political symbolism of Jerusalem, meaning the EBU isn't going to earn back the expenses needed to pay for the contest itself. Also it's pretty much a given that Jerusalem isn't the safest place for mass tourism.
Also, Nadav Guedj would be pretty happy if Tel Aviv hosted

Don't get your hopes too high, but KAN says Gal Gadot has been contacted to host ESC 2019.
It would probably be in Teddy Stadium or Sammy Ofer Stadium under a temporary roof.
