Tel Aviv is the only choose especially because Jerusalem is such a political center for issues in the middle east. Israel stop this political game your planning now and go to Tel Aviv

I love that we are united in demanding Tel Aviv as host city. I've tried to ask why not Tel Aviv all over FB, and I can't get a clear reason from anybody. Does Tel Aviv not want to be the center of attention when it's essentially the party capital of Israel? Not only would it be livelier, it would also be safer. And yes, can we get Gal Gadot to host? That would be so cool! I don't know anything about Israeli domestic policy but I think the mayor of Tel Aviv got an offer that he couldn't refuse, especially if they ruled out that fast. I could actually think about going to ESC if it's held in Tel Aviv, but Israel is quite far away from Finland (+ I have heard/read that the price level is little bit higher than in Helsinki) and I'm quite sure Israel wants to host in Jerusalem. Hopefully EBU will demand a different city as Jerusalem is not really good option considering the current situation in Israel & in the world.

The IPBC and EBU should recognise that if Jerusalem hosts, there's going to be an inevitable boycott given the political symbolism of Jerusalem, meaning the EBU isn't going to earn back the expenses needed to pay for the contest itself. I doubt that will happen. Which countries would withdraw because of that? Idk Azerbaijan maybe, probably none. The Western European countries would definitely participate, including the Big 5.

By boycott, I meant Eurovision fans more than delegations themselves. There would certainly be drama within the delegations though, and I would bet money on Azerbaijan withdrawing for sure. Collectively, Eurofans are probably the main source of income for the EBU so a boycott/absence of Eurofans would have pretty serious consequences in the long run, unless the organisation is smart and chooses a much smaller venue that requires less money.

I am for Tel Aviv (or any other city except Jerusalem) to host. I have nothing against Jerusalem but it already hosted twice, and I personally like diversity, and either Haifa or Tel Aviv would be perfect choices. I also wonder if the hosting won’t affect the number of participants, considering that afaik, once you got an Israeli stamp in your passport you aren’t able to travel to another Arabic country, or the other around. That would be tricky, I don’t know. P.S. Speaking of diversity, this is why Cyprus would been a perfect host

Julia Samoilova gave an interview to russian media, where she said that she wants to once again get to Eurovision and go to the final I think it's too much. We will send Julia from year to year until she wins?

We will send Julia from year to year until she wins? Julia is not a bad singer, I out of curiosity watched some videos of her singing live. She just needs (needed) a better song, and preferably in Russian, because that’s what she can do the best. And with a right song and good performance i’d be happy for her. But I doubt Russia will send her again.

Over Putin's dead body - Russia is going to pretend that NQ never happened to hide their embarrassment lel I adore Julia and was actively supporting her but she was kinda doomed from the start - like Mihai I have seen her perform live in other videos and she's actually a decent singer. She talked about not liking the I Won't Break video so I would not be surprised if she had no input over the decision made regarding song choice. A much slower song in Russian I believe would have suited her much, much better and probably given her a spot in the final.

If she sang in russian, we may have got a better result. But we're not sending the song in russian. We will teach a person to sing in english (and not always successfully) which he/she does not know at all, instead of writing a song in russian. I hope VGTRK will treat the participant's choice more responsibly than last time. Personally, I would not like to see Julia next year in Israel. We have stronger singers like Lazarev or Gagarina. And we want to sing more songs about peace and love
