I agree, there are other cases, but in my case the difficulty is not the same, because I can speak French, German and Italian and because Spanish and Portuguese are intelligible to me. So as long as I can find a source in English, French, German, Italian, Spanish (including Catalan) or Portuguese, I'm perfectly fine. For / I have a very simple solution: I host both countries (one on this forum, the other one outside) and I classify the stuff I find for the right country. The percentage of my unclassified stuff is quite low actually but it would take much more time if I couldn't at least read cyrillic and recognise the name of the cities (fortunately I know a lot of Russian cities - thank you Geoguessr...). But sometimes I can get to these pages because I can't get the real name of the artist or any link to a social media. This situation is more rare in Western European countries. Sometimes I finally manage to get to these informations by really deep investigation (like for ARi, a singer I used for ). The strategy of global searching applies as well to former Yugoslavian countries and there are plenty of songs to find. In my case many singers are already classified for many years, so that helps a lot. However, the strategy doesn't work well with - I found very few stuff from there (outside traditional/folk songs that would have absolutely no chance in any contest).
