This was a very exciting edition without me being a main host, especially not knowing everything before others. Alex, Nic (and Dylan) and the rest of council, you did a really amazing job. I am proud.

that's a good winner but there were better songs tbh. Congratulations on finally winning Basil but your 2nd places were better than this.
NOOOOOOOO. I am disappointed af that an obscure country lost to a country that probably has the biggest amount of diaspora singers. I don't think they will ever be that close again. sad.

Well.. on the one hand, I'm really happy that did better than I expected (I was expecting like 15th) because I've grown to love this song

on the other hand I don't really get how Secret did better in the 9th edition and I would actually swap their positions tbh :crygiggle: but it is what it is.

I won't do a huge reaction post, but some honorable mentions:

shouldn't have come 15th in the semi. I get why it NQd tbh but 15th? Too low. But now I'm worried that will also lose their streak just like the , no one is safe anymore n

slightly underrated. shouldn't have come last even though it didn't stand out really.

slightly bored of it (if I weren't bored of it it would get more) but still quite solid. Congrats on this result.

its a good song, just never saw it AQing. but it seems right - since I doubt we will ever see them this high soon. Well done.

Even though I'm really not a fan of the song (it doesn't sound like a winner to me at least) my heart goes out to the HoD because Greenland may never win and this was their best chance. But its still something to be proud of at least!

A great winner, congrats! Nice to see miss Basil get revenge after Ysa Ferrer was well and truly robbed of her victory.

Well its over. It was very fun being part of the OAmSC council this edition and hosting (even though, I really wish I could've done more.. it was just a very unfortunate situation with my laptop being broken and only getting a replacement yesterday) and who knows, we could be back in soon (though, I'm not getting my hopes up yet :bebe : ). This decade got off to a great start, but I just hope it can continue in a similar fashion, even though being in the semis again will be interesting.. I guess. See y'all in Jamaica, and congrats to both Alex and Nic as well on their first full edition as council members. You nailed it x

Wow! Thank you so much for 13th place! The delegation is very satisfied with this, but we were just happy to be in the final. No way we expected to reach the left side of the scoreboard at all, and I am really happy for this result in such a strong final. Guadeloupe will participate next edition, and you won’t see Elodie again for a while now she is amazing but been used too many times now

This massively grew on me, absolutely didn't deserve last place. Props for sending something unorthodox

This became a guilty pleasure kind of but the placement deserved.
Honestly still baffled at how this qualified tbh, the song was annoying to me.

Michelle Andrade carries their industry. All jokes aside, no. This was her worst attempt yet imo, really wasn't a huge fan of this. Other songs deserved the AQ more but again happy Bolivia got another decent result

YAS ANOTHER AQ for Suriname. This was another banger, I'm so glad this did well and I always thought it would do well. So happy for them!

THEY WERE SO CLOSE. This grew on me so much I'm obsessed with this song. I'm so happy for Greenland coming 2nd, but I also wish they could have won because the chances are they won't get this close for a while.

My long time predicted winner won. This was also my 12 points. So happy for Basil after their 2nd places in other own contests to finally get the win. This was a great song overall, and it definitely deserved the win.
