(っ◔◡◔)っ ♥ PRAGMA TICK ♥ EPISODE 9 THE GUM BALL
Send a bubblegum pop song Send a song that has a pink music video Send a song that has gum in the title
Bubblegum pop Nicola Roberts Lucky Day Now.. after consulting Wikipedia and other music websites, I've come to the conclusion that most bubblegum pop songs are from the 70s and that the term is very loosely used today.
So, going off by the definition in the quote, I'm going with a 2010 dance-pop song, which is arguably the best period in history for pop music. Nicola Roberts, an ex-member of Girls Aloud, has only one album released (in 2010). The thing didn't even chart high in the UK which is an absolute bummer because her solo stuff, and the song I'm presenting you today, are the quintessential dance-pop bubblegummy girly disposable pop, that is like cocaine to your ears. Pink Music Video Raveena Rush Ouuu this Sikh Goddess! This assignment is open for interpretation so I'm going off with a music videoI had recently watched. There's really nothing to say here. The music video draws inspirations from Bollywood and Indian culture, while having a predominately pink colour-palette. Gum song Thyla GumWell, that was easier than I expected. A simple search of the word 'gum' in my music library was necessary for me to find this song I had saved some weeks ago without even listening to it. Well, now I have listened to it and it's a nice indie rock tune that you'd find somewhere between 10th and 20th place at a Fantasia final. Enjoy (っ◔◡◔)っ ♥

Bitta Pill: The Gum Ball Season One: Episode Nine
After, well, flopping for 2 episodes in a row, I need to take risks. So here goes.
Bubblegum Pop After consulting my favourite database Every Noise At Once, I found a group by the name of The Spiral Starecase. Their song 'More Today Than Yesterday' is simply adorable: an ode to a lover that is the epitome of romantic. I don't normally like these kinds of songs but this one just spoke to me.
Pink Music Video Now this is where I run into problems. I don't listen to many songs with pink music videos, so this is a stretch, but I found a lyric video with heavy elements of deep pink rather than the gum pink you might be expecting. Hammock's 'The Night You Caught On Fire' is a gorgeous ambient/post-rock song that soothes the mind and creates a beautiful atmosphere. A real treat for the ears.
Gum Song No one ever said it had to be the word gum on its own did they? Sleeping At Last - No ArGUMent

GIGI WELPLADE xx
Hi my gumlicious girlies! It's me, Gigi! But you already knew that x. WOW! A Gum Ball?! What a coincidence! This challenge should be right up my alley right?! I hope it's not a bad omen teehee xx. I'm presenting you three fabulous songs to fit the themes of "bubblegum pop", "pink video" and "gum in the song title".
My first song is "Mickey" by Toni Basil. When I thinking bubblegum pop I think chirpy, cheery and camp realness. This is a throwback bop that has remained timeless! The song speaks for itself, it is pure fun! Werk bitch. Next up we have Anz with the song "You Could Be" which is a dreamy synthpop track. The video features Anz traversing through a digital world in pursuit of her beau. The gorgeously pink video was Illustrated by Natalie Agatte and Animated by Lawrie Miller and Felix Von Liska. I just love this song and it's one of my favourite finds this year! Finally, I think it's about time I gave y'all some Irish flavour. "Chewing Gum" by Cian Ducrot explores the end of a relationship. Contrary to Anz's song where she's hoping for a relationship to blossom, Cian is celebrating the end of a toxic relationship by poking fun at his ex! All of these songs take a totally poplicious approach to LOVE! And you know what I would love? To make that Grand Finale babies xxxx
