This is a thread about the SaS-news related to KentuckyTV broadcaster/Radio station: WJCR-FM (TV/Radio broadcaster located in Upton)
Musical format: Southern GospelArtist: Mark BishopThe TV-Radio Broadcaster, WJCR-FM, has now officially confirmed their announcement of their second artist. Making it the nineteenth official SaS #2-representant!
The submission has been brought out by the internal tastes from the TV-Radio Broadcaster's HoD and the SaS-creator! For the stats, this state kinda went laid-back and served out music which messages/lyrics brought out anything onto feelings that could've happening in a funeral. That happened when last entrant, Billy Ray Cyrus, gave his all with "Some Gave All", and that could potentially do well, but ended poorly on a 10th place with 55 points, whichever the next entrant could maybe do something for the better! Now our broadcaster has decided to still sort out anything but the mainstream industry, and give out a popular Gospel artist. An artist whose musical career has aside from doing solo, also been brought out hit singles alongside his brother and his father.
One of those brothers have accepted participating for his homestate and to shine his Gospel Music into this song contest! His name is Mark. Mark Bishop! Together as a family-group called The Bishops with father (Kenneth) and brother (Kenny) associated, they've had an enourmous succes and serving 27x Top 40-singles, 12x Top 5- and 3x No. 1-singles! They've toured all over the United States for 17 years and achieved lots of awards!
If Mark Bishop shall make his homestate proud, then he sure shall do it with one of his greater singles! Read more down below and click on the specific link if you want. ★ Biography ★ Discography ★ Photos ★Song: I'm Listening For The CallThe song was written by himself.
It's featured in his album, I Still Need Him from year 2011. As track no. 1.
This short composition of this song tells about a catchy newgrass sound.
The Crossroads Music Store marks the words with:
He’s hit the top of the charts. He’s won numerous awards. He’s a master storyteller who spins his yarns directly into your heart... I Still Need Him has everything you expect from a Mark Bishop project ★ Lyrics ★When I was a little boy, I heard about the last days Some morning when the Lord will come again I remember how the Saints of Old sang about his coming Guess I didn’t think that much about it then Soon the years took me far away and church became a memory I lived my life believing they were wrong But everyday I live I see those prophecies fulfilling By the signs of the times, I believe it won’t be long In the east, on a cloud He’ll be coming for his children And the monuments of sin will surely fall I can see by the word that the day is drawing nearer I’m not looking for the signs anymore I’m listening for the call Take a look in the Bible and you’ll read of war and famine You’ll read about when men will fall away Two thousand years ago upon the pages that was written But I’m telling you it sounds just like today In the east, on a cloud He’ll be coming for his children And the monuments of sin will surely fall I can see by the word that the day is drawing nearer I’m not looking for the signs anymore I’m listening for the call I can see by the word that the day is drawing nearer I’m not looking for the signs anymore I’m listening for the call
