There are rumors that some countries may withdraw.
1.
- Russians dislike Conchita and basically gays. Secondly for the Crimean crisis and the wars in Ukraine.
2.
- The juries of Georgia in the final voted all the songs by the same votes. EBU may force the country to withdraw.
3.
- Greece believe that the results from the jury are unfair from 2009 and secondly for the new rule that allows to the organizers to put the songs in the draw they want.
4.
- Israel's TV channel will close on March 2015.

- Italians withdraw from the competition in 1998 because they believed that the interest of the public is reducing. They got only one last place in 1966 and their second worst place before 2014 was 15th. This year they ended 21st.

- Due to financial and political problems.

- Since 2009 Azerbaijan was constantly in top 5 but this year their entry came 22nd. They believe that the song was so good that deserved top 10 and the results are unfair.

- United Kingdom tries every year many kinds of songs and artists. In 2000's they got 3 last places and many bad places too. Their only good places were in 2002, in 2009 and in 2011.
