- The British don't take Eurovision seriously. - The British accent varies greatly (ask LanguageNerd09, me and him would sound and talk very differently) - There is no such thing as a country called Britain, although people from the UK are still called British. - Scotland may leave the UK in 2014, making it the 23rd largest sovereign state in Europe

In the United States, Puerto Rico might vote to become a state making it 51 states in the union Soccer isn't really big in the United States, neither is cricket. We enjoy baseball and American football!

The UK flag consists of the English, Scottish and half of the St Patrick's flag (Ireland - without the Republic of Ireland)
The reason why you don't see the Welsh flag in the Union Jack is that Wales was already past of England when Scotland joined.

I live in Germany, it's a multi-culture country. Here are living so many foreigner like me. Most of them from Turkey, I always see "Aydin's" Yilmaz's" etc. But there are also many serbs, greeks and poles. So the german eurovision votes are always fake, because it's just a battle between ethnic groups I'm honest I do it also, I vote every year for Serbia... Every year Turkey vs. Greece vs. Serbia, which gets the 12 points Since 2009 the jury votes prevent these ethnic group votes. That's the main factor of jury votings, so the votes aren't "fake" anymore. Always the same: 2008: www.youtube.com/watch?v=PHZRGYLtUMs2007: www.youtube.com/watch?v=9fS7MO1pE9MSo I have to say it's okay for me with these jury votes

- The British accent varies greatly (ask LanguageNerd09, me and him would sound and talk very differently) - There are many accents here in the UK; you can rid of your accent with elecution lessons. - Contrary to popular belief, we don't survive on tea - We have many slang terms here in the UK which sadly confuse non-natives. If your Danish, Swedish or Norwegian however you would cope fine in my city as we call children "bairns" and refer to the place we live as our "hus" - personally I don't speak using my cities accent. - We don't religiously eat 'Sunday roast' on a Sunday; you are free to change the day of consumption - Too many children are giving birth to children, teens as young as 13 are falling pregnant… - The government mess up everything; they find solutions for nothing - In the last 72 hours it was 1st sunny, blue sky and 20 degrees celsius, 2. (day after) it was cloudy, overcast, 9 degrees and raining and now 3. forecast snow tonight … - Edinburgh is underrated - Some older folk still bare a grudge on Germany … we youngsters don't give a … as it was many years ago.
