Seeing the rehearsal, I now love Mother Earth even more than I love Frozen Silence.  Every artist has at least one song that I really like. This preselection is crazy  |

My prediction: The 4 artists that will proceed to the second round will be: • Mrs Greenbird. They won X-Factor, so they obviously have a lot of fans who are willing to spend their money voting for them. • Andreas Kümmert. Same reason as Mrs Greenbird, only that he won The Voice of Germany. Also, many viewers want to demonstrate that looks don't matter to them, so they'll vote for him based on his look. Dat irony. • Alexa Feser. Old-people-favourite. ARD is mostly watched by old people. And they will love a woman singing German songs in the style of Herbert Grönemeyer, as they don't understand the English songs. • Ann Sophie. Wildcard hype. Like last year, the host will over-dramatize the fact that Ann Sophie won the wildcard. She will be presented as the fantastic unknown unexperienced newcomer. And that disadvantages the other fantastic unknown newcomers like Noize Generation and Fahrenhaidt's Amanda, who in contrast to Ann Sophie will be presented as established artists. Laing and Noize Generation have absolutely no chance in my opinion (even though I like them). Faun could possibly get to the second round instead of Alexa Feser or Mrs Greenbird, as they have a broad fanbase too. I really want Fahrenhaidt to win, but I just don't see them surviving the first round, unfortunately. Hopefully Mrs Greenbird's dress will prevent people from voting, so that Fahrenhaidt can take that place And in the second round, I think it will be between Andreas Kümmert and Ann Sophie.

Fahrenheidt is the fan-favourite while nearly nobody likes Mrs. Greenbird... But I agree on the other 3 qualifiers (although I want Laing and Faun instead of Andreas Kümmert and Alexa Feser) |
