My prediction:
Moving on to Round 2:
• Fahrenhaidt: Leading all polls, great staging, great vocals from Amanda and it will definitely gain many votes (at least in the first round).
• Ann Sophie: Great stage presence and the fact that she won the Clubkonzert helps her a lot, I suppose.
• Alexa Feser: ARD/NDR has supported her a lot and she kinda sings the style that's quite popular here at the moment (german languaged songs with a meaning)
• Laing: Much confidence on stage and they're quite known, so I guess they will pass. (might be switched with Andreas Kümmert)
OUT:
• Andreas Kümmert: He has a great voice actually, but he's sick at the moment, so I suppose he will do a 'Madeline Juno'. Also, he chose the worse song first. I don't think it will appeal that much. (might be switched with Laing)
• Faun: Great stage presence, but I don't think people will vote for them. Also, I think their vocals are not strong enough, but I'm judging from a bad quality rehearsal video, so I may be wrong.
• Mrs. Greenbird: They are as well sick and might struggle with the live singing. Also, I don't think that many people remember them from X Factor to be honest, it wasn't really a popular show here anyway.
• Noize Generation: Great staging, but this is usually not what Germans will vote for, especially when the preselection is held on a day when little children need to go to bed and on a channel which is clearly watched by older people in the majority (on the evening, it's probably 50% older people and 50% Eurofans).
The final round will then be:
• Fahrenhaidt - "Frozen Silence": Stronger entry from both of them and as mentioned they are leading all polls, just like Cascada did in 2013.
vs.
• either Ann Sophie - "Jump The Gun": Although imo the song is weaker, as mentioned it has the advantage of the Clubkonzert.
• or Ann Sophie - "Black Smoke": On the other side, it might be like Unheilig, that the second song is suddenly more popular, but I'm pretty sure Ann Sophie will be in the final round.
Winner: We'll see
