Made in Ireland is back! Although with an altered format:- Any NVSC broadcaster can apply (including associate broadcasters) to be a jury member. The broadcaster who won the previous edition (
Dimitris) will be offered an automatic place as a mentor. - There will be 8 broadcasters taking part: 5 mentors with three Irish acts to pick from, 1 mentor with three foreign act to choose from, 1 mentor to choose a Celtic Language act, and RTÉ will get to choose from any of the rejected acts
- Once the broadcasters have been announced, they will choose a song to send for one of the three acts they have been given
- The 8 acts will then compete in the final
- The jury members (same as the mentors) will give points 12, 8, 4, -4, and -8. The Televote will have 100 points they can distribute to the acts in whatever way they see fit
- Then, obviously, the song with the most points shall win and go onto represent Ireland in the North Vision Song Contest 13
