This contest is like a role playing game though. In a role playing game you don't stand around and do nothing except for sth that keeps you alive

- The introduction of a rule regarding the board activity -
Recently the NBU has received complaints about some users' reduced activity, which often puts the contest's running time in danger. Assuming that the waiting list people are more active on the forums/NVSC board than some of the actual HoDs, it was decided that:
- If in the latest three editions an user's activity has been really low and/or - If an user fails to confirm/withdraw/submit a song,
The broadcaster and the player will be forced to withdraw from NVSC, and consequently, the user would have to sign up on the waiting list again. The country will be given to the first person on the waiting list.
Please note, the standard active player writes more than about 10 posts in an edition's time on the whole NVSC board. You can additionally host National Selections, review songs in the confirmation threads, vote in the official Sneak Peeks or just post reactions to the results. I totally agree with that if he fails to confirm/withdraw/submit... But there is a problem at activity. I understand that people on the waiting list want to get rid of people who don't often talk but it's very cruel to remove them from a contest just because they don't write a certain number of posts. Maybe they don't have time to do so! :/ LOL, it's not about an exact number of posts. The NBU isn't going to come and tell someone "Hey ! You wrote only 9 posts about this edition ! So you have to leave NVSC and give your spot to the first person on the Waiting list. sorry xXx" If you are interested and fully involved in the contest, you reach the amount of posts easily. Simple example: 1. Confirming your song (1 post) 2. Posting your ranking for each SP (6-7 posts) 3. Reacting to the results of the PQR (1), each semi (2) and the Final (1) = 11 freaking posts, and this user would be considered as kinda inactive Of course, 10 posts is just an approximation, but people who "don't have time" just shouldn't participate. Everyone has its priorities ; there are people on the WL for whom NVSC is one, unlike some participants at the moment. I didn't feel harsh at all writing this, surprisingly

I also don't even understand, how somebody can only post 2 posts per edition... There is so much to discuss here, why only so less interest

Tbh I'm pretty active and I didn't really use Czech artists (only bad ones). So tbh this does not change anything for me. I'll never leave

I think the activity rules were a mistake. I see this in the future.: Random waiting lost user: "XY has only posted 9 times last edition, DSQ him/her!" But lets see. @myskin Laura Pausini participated for San Marino, too. the number is approximative tbh It means you have to post more than a confirmation post and an entry votes + occasionally logging in to vote at the last moment it all sounds nice, but this approximation will go up very soon, I'm afraid, as every single one does. so now one is considered inactive if he writes just 2-3 posts per edition, then - if he doesn't vote in National Selections, then - if doesn't host one and so on and so forth... because it's a very dangerous tool as people who are quite active have got now an official approval that activity really counts :/ (all above written is my personal opinion, ofc, I just hope that NBU fully realizes all the possible consequences)

So does this mean the greecelove gets Armenia, Alessandro gets Spain and Tom (do I ever talk in the third person? LOL ) gets The Netherlands case will become most likely reality? Would be a dream coming true! I think it's obvious jesc2010 is not interested in the contest... when all YouTube users had to join the forums, the most were detected as being part of the Cro-gate and who were the other remaining ones? Only jesc2010 as far as I know. About William, I think he wasn't for a really long time on the Waiting List when he got Italy so therefore no one could've detected if he would've become active on the forums and the contest or not. I think he doesn't mind the contest either, it's the only contest he is participating and sometimes he doesn't log in for months. About Maaian... well I don't know if you should let him leave the competition. In the end he is actively following my contest lol
