No? I've by WordShark"> listened to a handful of old contests and "Kedvesem" is still my absolute favorite song from ESC. It's all a matter of taste and if you prefer older stuff like the ballads of the 60s and pop of the 70s and 80s, then go for it. But no one should feel forced to listen to a bunch of by WordShark"> songs that they don't particularly care for. I also don't think it's really cool to insinuate that just because something is older means that it's better. (As a pop-punk fan, going through old Eurovisions when I did it was hellish because it was by WordShark"> hard for me to get interested in 12-18 of the same kind of ballad. If you like ballads, then you're gonna love Eurovision 1963 but I don't so I didn't.) Please, there was a lot more to the early contests than the standard ballads and schlager pop songs , and I'm not saying that older is better (in fact, I think that the contests of the 1950s were the worst, since any songs with a hint of life got tossed to the curb, and the winner would usually get twice as many points as the runner up). 12-18 of the same kind of ballad. Of the early contests that I've seen, there have been some ballads that I prefer over others, and I can see many differences in each one. And don't get me wrong, I still love the recent contests, but I'm just saying, one can't really say that their all time favourite Eurovision song is one from a recent edition when the recent editions are all one has seen True, I generalized a bit, but the dominant flavor of song was ballads for a long time. The three flavors of song you can expect from most old Eurovisions are a ballad of some kind, something pop-related (almost always from the UK), and a jazzy kind of mid tempo number, like Italy 1958. Sure, some songs fell outside of this list, but the memorable ones *always* do, like Denmark's winner in 1963 and Luxembourg's in 1965. That shifted in the 70s when the song contest got even more popular and pop replaced ballads for good with ABBA's win in 1974. Of course there are differences between individual songs, but if you're not interested in ballads to begin with, identifying unique characteristics of multiple ballads in a row is definitely an unpleasant task. I mean, I *could* go and listen to all the songs from a random old year and come up with meaningful comments for all of them, but it would feel like a chore. Hence the reason I don't do that and haven't for a long time, and also why I don't think people should feel obligated to so or feel shamed for not doing so. Finally, most people's all-time favorite song is one they have a personal attachment to that goes deeper than just liking the music. And it's certainly easier to connect to a song that you've known for a while and "experienced" (saw it at the NF, then ESC, then after ESC) rather than one you listen to randomly. Of course, it's different for every person, but that's how it is for me, and that's why I can't fathom any other song replacing "Kedvesem" as my all-time favorite.

High By The Beach is Lana's worst song by a landslide.
It's just a mess.
Sorry not sorry.

Reviving this tbh Latvia's flag is brown NEVER EVER offend someone's national flag!!! Even in a thread like this, where everyone is allowed to say everything they want... How would you like if I'd say something offensive about the irish flag?

How would you like if I'd say something offensive about the irish flag? How is that offensive? It is offensive, because it's my national flag and I don't like it being called brown (or anything that is not true), when it's clearly not brown.
