Welcome to the Continental Contests!
Each continent in the Lyrical World, or on the planet we call Chiaotune,
will get its' own subcontest.
Why?
To give more countries a fair chance of competing,
with more chances of getting podium and winning spots.
What's the benefit?
Participating in the continental song contests,
will help you boost the country score.
As not every continent has the same amount of participants,
it will be based on a scale of participants, how many points you'll get.
Is it possible to only take part in this, and not in LYSC as new user?
Of course, you only need a country name and flag.
Then we'll place you on the map and you are ready to go!
Why are we doing this?
LYSC itself is getting crowdier,
and we want to allow people to also compete on a smaller, faster paced contest.
How long will an edition run for?
If everything goes as planned,
each edition for all continental song contests, shall last 1 week.
Will it be as fancy as LYSC?
No, considering it's faster paced,
we're taking it a notch down, but that doesn't stop the fun.
Will there be a world final?
No, these contests stick within their continents.
What are the rules for entries?
The same as LYSC:
No ESC/JESC or National Selection songs and it can't have taken part in LYSC, CLYSC or CHLYSC before.
It is required to send along a 20 second timeslot, for convenience purposes.
Not doing so results in a non-confirmation.
