The format
10 songs will compete in the first round, then from the top 6 of the first round, 4 will be chosen live in a TT room by 4 mentors to go into the second round (these mentors shall be decided from the people who show up to the TT room at random). These mentors will then go on to select a second song for their act to be performed alongside their first song in the second round where eight songs shall compete to represent Ireland
