North Vision Song Contest
Free Country Draws

Due to unfairness with the earlier giveaways of free countries to Waiting List
users, the NBU decided to add a draw once more than one user is interested
in a newly free country. Here is the process in steps:

1. Application phase: The first waiting list user and every NVSC user who
has had his old country for at least 3 editions and wants to have a newly
free country in the contest can apply for the draw. There will be given deadlines.
Applications have to be made via Personal Message.

2. Draw phase: The draw will be shown live on tinychat on given dates
to avoid the thought of a NBU council member trying to corrupt the draw.
All applicant user's pieces of paper will be put in a bowl and the winner will
be able to take the country that has gotten free.

3. Swapping phase: Once the draw is done, the country will go to its
rightful (drawn) owner. If this is the waiting list user, nothing will change.
If it is a NVSC user, the country that this user left, will be given to
the waiting list user (unless they refuse to take it).
If a waiting list user refuses to take a country, the second user on the
waiting list will be asked to take this country (if this user refuses, we will
keep on asking the next user until a new HoD is found).

ICELAND

As Iceland is now officially a free country in NVSC, we expect that a lot
of people would like to be the Head of Delegation for Iceland. Therefore we prepared
a draw to determine who will receive the country in the end. OMAROSA as the first
user on the waiting list has, between every NVSC user who has had his country
for at least 3 editions, the right to compete in the draw for the country.
The draw will be made live on Tinychat on a yet to be chosen date.

Everyone who would like to participate in the draw has to send a
Personal Message to Daniel.

Please make sure to apply until 23:59:59CET tonight (1st September 2015)!

ICELAND DRAW

The draw for

Iceland will take place today, 7 September 2015 at 17:00 CET.
It will take place between the 4 people who applied to swap their country with Iceland. These are:

Anesović

Dylan

Asi

OMAROSA didn't reply to get Iceland, and won't be included in the draw.
Because of this, manos will acquire one of the 4 countries included in the draw, that will become free.

ICELAND DRAW

Today, 7th September, the draw for the new Head of Delegation of

Iceland (RUV) took place at the NBU Headquarters in

Stockholm.

Daniel Lengfeld drew the cards of the four applicants, which were put in a bowl.

Dylan

A "reversed" draw was made, meaning that the winner was chosen by eliminating all the other contenders until only two cards
were left. The winner would be then chosen by picking one of the two cards from the bowl.
This was made to ensure fairness and excitement.

ALBANIA and ISRAEL

Two countries are becoming free in NVSC#18 (as they're withdrawing in #17) and
therefore we prepared draws again. Israel was the first country to be free and
therefore will be drawn first between the first user on the waiting
list (OMAROSA) and every interested NVSC player
who has had his country for at least 3 editions.

If you are interested to take Israel, please send
a PM to me until thursday, 15 October 2015 at 23:59:59CET.

The draw for Israel will take place on friday afternoon.

For the case OMAROSA does not response until the given deadline, fabbi will
be allowed to take part in the draw for

Israel. If you don't want to
participate in the draw and you would rather have Albania,
please let me know in a PM aswell.

The draw for

Albania will be carried out, once the previous
draw has been successfully finished. Either the first user on the
waiting list (OMAROSA) or fabbi can apply to take part in the draw
for

Albania. If any of those is taking part in the draw for

Israel
and either wins or takes the country that is given to him automatically,
the third user on the waiting list (Bas) may be able to apply.
Also any NVSC player who has had his country for at least 3 editions
can take part in the draw.

The deadline for Albania will be friday, 16th October 2015 at 23:59:59CET.
If you want to take part, please send a PM to me until then.

The draw for Albania will take place at saturday afternoon.
