/'θɾɔɥ.ni fi.'nɔ.tse/Last night in southern continental Vradiazi, the city of Xyzrø dyi Lux celebrated its most international holiday – Zroyni Finoce, or the Vradi New Year's Eve.
The end of the Vradi Calendar, which coincides with the final days of winter and the arrival of spring, is celebrated by the Vradis with spectacular fires and pyrotechnics, when the cities are given over to a carnival of lights, sound and gunpowder. In Xyzrø, Zroyni Finoce is considered their greatest holiday as it attracts over 12 million visitors every year from inside and outside the country.
Since early in the morning, people begin to crowd the city streets in order to see the preparations for the upcoming party. As the day goes by, terraces fill up as people go to enjoy a typical aperitif and some traditional Xyzrian food under the early spring sun.  Xilavj ready to explode.From 4:00 p.m. on, xilavj, very loud firecrackers specially made for the occasion, rip through the City Hall Square every 90 minutes in a noisy event called Xilavøj. This concert of gunpowder explosions that beats out a unique sound involves different neighbourhood groups competing for the most impressive volley, ending at 4:00 a.m. with the "tíeвmuti" (literally "earthquake") as hundreds of xilavj explode simultaneously to welcome the Vradi New Year.  First Xilavøj of the day at the City Hall Square.Unlike fireworks alone, which seek visual stimulation, the Xilavøj aim to stimulate the body through strong rhythmic sounds. Some people consider these sounds as "musical" sounds, while not neglecting the importance of the visual aspect. What distinguishes the Xilavøj from a regular succession of explosions is the rhythm that firecrackers must create to explode, rising before coming to a dramatic conclusion.  Street light decorations on Alkiвnwy Avenue.Inmediately after, people gather on Alkiвnwy Avenue to enjoy the street light decorations and the sky of Xyzrø filled with the colours of the best firework displays. When the party is over, it is a tradition to stay awake until dawn with family and friends singing and dancing in the light of bonfires at the beach.  Fireworks filling the sky to welcome the Vradi New Year.⚠️⚠️⚠️ The Xilavøj is mostly based on the Mascletà, a pyrotechnic event which takes place at the Falles, a typical celebration of the  Valencian Community (Spain). History of Vradiazi(Volume 1)INTRODUCTION Vradiazi, also officially the Vradi State, is a federal republic composed of eight states in western Westmont. The capital and largest city is the city-state of Xyzrø dyi Lux, with a metropolitan population of 9.5 million inhabitants. Other major metropolitan areas —each with at least 4 million inhabitants— are Veqki, Øvaвuri, Emirnux, Fyzkader, and Aigнel.
Nowadays, Vradiazi is an important strategic point in international trade given its location between the northern and southern halves of Westmont, as well as its proximity to both North Easton and South Easton.
Modern Vradiazi was born on 17 April 2009. Although there is evidence that the Vradi civilisation is very old, its origins remain unknown. However, recent findings have shed some light on their Ancient history. EMIRNUX RUINS The little that was known of these people was through frescoes and carving in ruins to the south of Emirnux City, in the island of Emirnux. These ruins were thought to date back to the end of the 4th century, and experts believe that they were a kind of archive where events of the Vradi culture were recorded, considering that their paintings describe, through a succession of images with inscriptions in Old Vradiw, facts related to the Yellow Crossings, which culminated in the discovery of continental lands.
However, the origin of the ruins became uncertain when new underground chambers were discovered in March 2008. In these sealed chambers paintings older than those known hitherto were found, in which different daily scenes of an ancient civilisation are captured. History of Vradiazi(Volume 2)TRAVAWYJ URI, THE YELLOW CROSSINGS/tɾa.βa.'ʃyx 'u.ɾi/ Travawyj Uri, or the Yellow Crossings, are described as the most important event in the history of Vradiazi. It was a series of sea voyages that the Vradi people made from the island of Emirnux to the continental coasts of Westmont. They consist of two parts: the arrival to the Urilx Islands, and the discovery of the continent.
There was a series of circumstances why the Vradis did not leave their homeland until quite late in history. One of them is that, isolated from the rest of the world, they did not know that there was land beyond the sea. Despite living on an island, and in addition to being in an area of great hurricane activity, they were not an adventurous people and did not use to make ships. Another significant circumstance is that Emirnux is in the Southern Hemisphere, just below the equator, so it was normal for them to be surprised by the change of season on any trip that they made to the north, especially in warm seasons.
This changed once they realised that this event always took place. On one occasion, they sailed in early autumn and, when they crossed the equator, they found out that the weather was favourable. Thus, on 15 June 384 they arrived to several uninhabited islands where they settled, and they named this archipelago Urilx Islands ("Islands of Gold") because they seemed made of this material when sighted for the first time at dusk. History of Vradiazi(Volume 3)UVØZRAI, THE MAINLAND DISCOVERY/'u.βø.θɾaj/ The second phase of the Yellow Crossings began at the end of the 8th century. As with the Vradis who lived in Emirnux, the new Vradis of the Urilx Islands did not like to sail. However, the rapid population growth prompted them to start making new voyages north. Thus, on 8 April 793 they sighted the rugged coastline of the old Qevo, which today is the city of Veqki. After a while they found out that this new land was much larger than the one that they knew, and that other civilisations besides theirs lived there. It is during this period of discovery called Uvøzrai (literally "adventure"), in which the Vradi people came into contact with these civilisations, when the "States of Vradi" began to organise.
What today is known as the States of Vradi were a series of regions and territories formed with the Vradi migration between the 9th and 13th centuries. They were independent from each other and governed by different tribes scattered during the expansion of the Vradi people across the new discovered lands. It is believed that the division of these territories was not due to political issues, but to these pilgrims forgetting their origins on the island of Emirnux. The States in order of formation are: Qevo, Altira, Juvøri, and Maнyos.
However, despite forgetting its true origins and constituting separate states, they felt a sense of belonging to the same culture given that they, along with the inhabitants of Emirnux and the Urilx Islands, essentially spoke dialects of the same language, which caused them to form alliances with common purposes periodically. Fact about VradiaziKRAØU MUNNIRH, THE CREATION OF THE WORLD/'kɾa.øw 'mu.n:iɾɲ/ The coat of arms of Vradiazi is a millenary symbol that has represented the Vradi people generation after generation. There are many people around the world who think that it represents a star, but it really is the artistic representation of a solar eclipse.
According to Vradi folklore, in the beginning of time there was a deity who put an egg in the emptiness of the firmament. In order to make it hatch, it used almost all of its power, and the world, life, movement, and change came out of it. The deity was very proud to see what it had created, so it decided to put another egg. However, it was not able to make it hatch since it did not have enough power left. In a last desperate attempt, the deity concentrated its remaining power and sacrificed itself to create the Sun and thus heat the egg. However, it was all in vain, since the egg only comes out at night and cannot receive the Sun's heat to open. That way, this second egg became the Moon, and it is said that only when the Sun and the Moon happen to meet at the same place in the sky, the egg will gather enough heat to open and the world will finally obtain the unknown gifts of the deity.
That said, it is easier to notice now that the coat of arms of Vradiazi captures the hatching of the egg by means of a solar eclipse. The red triangle symbolises the Sun, while that kind of "white star" is the solar corona that can be seen when the Moon blocks the Sun. Besides, the Vradi flag has black in it because of the characteristic colour of the sky when this event occurs. Finally, in the centre the Moon is depicted at the moment of hatching, releasing the power that holds inside of itself.   MISS10n: High(Promotional EP)Following their recent victory at the VRADIFEST #06, duo MISSIO has already started their international promotion by releasing "MISS10n: High", an EP composed of a selection of tracks from their latest studio album, as well as the entry with which they will represent Vradiazi at Fantasia Contest #10 in  Aquia, "Everybody Gets High". Besides, the EP also includes a special cover of the hit single "West Coast" by Atlandian singer Lana Del Rey, of whom MISSIO have said to be huge fans.
This event aims to recover the traditional promotion of Vradiazi's chosen artists, as well as commemorates the 10th participation of the country in the festival.

Fact about VradiaziANIK TÍØPI, THE VRADI TIME/'a.nik 'ti.ø.pi/ Time in physics is unambiguously defined as "what a clock reads", but in how many ways can a clock read time? As already mentioned in previous posts, people in Vradiazi use a different calendar from the rest of the world*, so it would not be unreasonable to think that they also measure the hours in a different way than usual.
In ancient times, the Vradi people used a hexadecimal system to measure time. In this system, instead of using 10 digits as in the traditional decimal system, 16 digits are used. It is believed that this was so because 16 is a multiple of 8, and for the Vradis the number 8 is a symbol of the balance between antagonistic forces, and represents the eternal cosmic movement, the basis of regeneration and infinity.
As time went by and with the expansion of the Vradis towards the continent, the regions bordering other countries gradually adopted the decimal system that they were using, since the two systems were incompatible except for the fact that a day lasts 24 hours in both of them. Thus, also caused by Vradiazi not being a unified country as it is today, there were regions that used either one system or the other.
In order to reduce the increasing confusion among the Vradi regions, in 1764 the engineer Jun Noyfliji proposed a new time format in which features of the two systems were combined: the Anik Tíøpi ("Only Time"), a decimal system expressed in hexadecimal format, so that it is more functional and at the same time it keeps a classic touch. To do so, he divided the day into 16 "hours" or tíøpij of 90 minutes, each one represented by a different digit: the ten digits of the decimal system (from 0 to 9) and six letters of the Vradiw alphabet for the remaining six digits (A, Y, C, P, E, and H). These letters were mainly chosen due to their ease of being displayed as digital numbers on LCD screens. This way, the Anik Tíøpi gained popularity very quickly and eventually ended up becoming the standard time system in Vradiazi up to nowadays.  Equivalences between the 16 tíøpij and the 24-hour decimal format: Hexadecimal and decimal numbers from 0 to 89: Examples in everyday life:
- A new day in Vradiazi starts at 0|00 (4:00 am) and ends at H|59 (3:59 am).
- On weekdays Vradis have breakfast between 2|00 (7:00 am) and 2|3C (8:00 am).
- The school day for students in elementary, middle and high schools usually begins at 3|00 (8:30 am). At 5|3C (12:30 pm) they have a lunch break, resume classes at 6|3C (2:00 pm), and finish the day at 8|00 (4:00 pm). Besides, two or three days a week they may have extracurricular activities that finish at A|00 (7:00 pm) at the latest.
- Dinner time ranges from Y|00 (8:30 pm) in the regions further north to C|00 (10:00 pm) in the southernmost ones, and prime-time television programmes start around Y|3C (9:30 pm).
- Normally at P|00 (11:30 pm) Vradis prepare to go to bed. This time is colloquially called Pijame tíøpi ("Pyjamas time").
