I know I was temporarily banned months ago, but looking back I regret the mistakes I had done while participating and have come to a decision to join the list of interest. I know that users who never participated in the contest deserve a position more than me, but I still enjoy watching the contest and would like to have a second chance in participating.
Looking back at my faulty ways; my first strike, I must admit that I had taken the contest for granted though I don't remember my exact reason for not voting. My second strike which I received some editions later, was for the same reason as I had not been focusing on the voting although it was at least counted though late. Finally, my third was a complete mistake from procrastination and thinking that revealing in the last minute would maximize a good result.
All in all, I'd like to apologize for the inconveniences caused by my previous participation. I can assure that I wouldn't repeat the mistakes I had done previously, as I have generally voted in contests earlier now. As a result, I'd like to join the list of interest and once again send my sincerest of apologies.

If you haven't already done so, remember to apply by 2359CET tonight! Even if you are one second late, you won't be put on the list. I have responded to most applicants but do not worry if I haven't replied to you - you have been added to the draw list anyway  The new users will be picked via a classic bowl draw - this will most likely be done either tomorrow or on Saturday. Check here for further info if you need a reminder or you were oblivious to the fact that the draws have returned  |

For those who did get in, you must now do the following:
Send a PM to the whole council with the following information (at minimum):
A country name
A flag*
Basic facts
(including but not limited to the capital, national broadcaster and language(s))
* if you need assistance with the flag we can help direct you to places
You must send this information by 2100CET tomorrow otherwise there will be a full redraw of your country. You don't really want that.
