I thought as a one off last year I didn't mind Australia participating but now they're permanent I think it's a little silly imho. But hey ho, hopefully we'll hear another great song from them .

As Jon Ola Sand, said,"Eurovision Song Costest" is something made to United us all, wherever we are from.. That's why, they decided to let Australia be a permanent member of Eurovision Song Contest.. Just the thing that the title is "Eurovision" doesn't means it's only for Europe.. (Take it like International Music Festival, the title shows that we are all united in this 'festival',though only European countries are eligible to compete, and some neighbors too..)

I understand what you're saying but it would really SUCK if more and more countries participated. I'm cool with the odd guest participant, like Australia last year, but if the whole world participated then it'll take forever and would be even more GROSSLY corrupt and would take the fun out of the whole show. To be honest, 'Eurovision' really does mean it's for Europe and it would take that name away and what it stands for. A 'Worldvision' can be done another time imo.
