Okay guys, I didn't watch much of JESC this year but the majority of these comments literally give me cancer. Lemme start my ranting. Look guys, with televote out of discussion, y'all really thought the major favorite of every user will win? Yes, the results were kinda unexpected. And yes, the major favorites kinda flopped in the results. SO FUCKING WHAT. It's just a competition for fuck's sake, not a life or death choice. My favorite was Albania. I've always supported it till the end and beyond and yeah, it didn't do well, but you literally see me (or the others which had other favorites) telling shit about the winner? Or other nations? Or literally any other users which had my favorite last? Look, I understand opinions are opinions, but why the fuck you have to react (not all, to emphasize that) like it's the end of the world if one unexpected contestant has in fact won? Like hell, you're getting way over-dramatic over the results like goddamn knows what in the end won. Seriously, it's a child show, grow up and deal with it, the results ain't changing. Hell, the children themselves are okay with the results and I see these nonsense comments which are going to cringe mode 250%. As for the winner, I'm so glad that Georgia has managed to silence everyone, and personally it's one hell of an amazing winner, whether you like it, or not. Yes, tastes differ. And yes, many had Georgia rather low. But you really had to react in such manner? It makes those guys which had the major cringe comments look like 5 year olds which act like their candy has been stolen. With that, to finish and to prepare my defense for the hate comments which come after this review, Georgia deserved to win fair and square, and the results showed it. Just her reaction when she won was incredibly worthy for a winner which wasn't even a major favorite. In fact, the fact that she won and had this reaction was the best thing in the entire show. The results ain't changing because of you wanting it. DEAL WITH IT, IT WON, END OF STORY, MOVE ON WITH YOUR LIVES, IT'S NOT ESC TO ACT LIKE THIS. To say it clearly, I'm not mentioning everyone in here. Only the ones of which comments literally gave me cancer. Like I said previously, opinions are opinions. But DON'T blame the child for what happened in JESC. With that, I end my rant. About your backlash, I mostly don't give a shit. I just said my opinion. Like you all. the tea is hot! The shade is also shady, but someone had to say it once and for all.
At least the tea is good?

Hmm, for the beginning, it was in my bottom 5, I won't be lying. But then the performance and her live was just a true miracle for me how 10 years old girl has this voice. She was amazing and she TOTALLY deserved to win. The thing she DIDN'T deserve where the boos while voting, your butthurt comments and stuff like that. Once again, I'm proud of her! Now about rest of results. Macedonia is really underrated for me as it was my big favorite since beginning but oh well, not everyone can place high. I guess I'm still going to listen this song after JESC though. Armenia and Italy aka rest of top 2. I'm also really proud of them. Especially Italy, which was one of my big favorites as well. Belarus is overrated as hell in my opinion, but eh, I can get over this. The show wasn't what I wanted to be honest, especially the hosts, but oh well, the songs and kids are what matters, so I had fun while watching it. Wow, this became long post! Anyway, now we can wait for ESC season! EDIT: Oh my god, how could I forget about Mariam's reaction? It was sooo cute. And the moment other participants started to sing, aww.

THOUGHTS ABOUT THE RESULTS:17th The song was really unmemorable. I don't mind it placing last. 16th He had the worst voice, which should have placed him last, but his energy saved him from placing last. 15th Everything about this was meh. 14th This should've place higher, but I don't really care in the end. The mimes were a nice touch to the performance. 13th I was indifferent with this, then I liked it, but then when she performed, I went back to meh. Great voice though. 12th This was one of my faves. Underrated. 11th My initial favorite. I'm stunned it placed on the right side. I had a strong emotional connection with this. Even more underrated. 10th I'm surprised it did well enough with both juries, even being ahead of Poland by a huge margin. This was meh to me overall. 9th This is a deserved placement by Bulgaria. I don't mind it placing right in the middle. 8th It's a good upbeat entry, so well done for them placing this high. 7th I initially hated it, but after the performance, I grew to like it and appreciate its 7th place. 6th This was really catchy and upbeat. I'm glad it placed high. 5th As great as its message is, it's overrated. I would have put the performance in the bottom half. 4th It's a soothing and ethereal song supported with a serene performance. 4th place is good for Russia. 3rd A song with a very relatable message. I'm happy this came in third. She deserves it. 2nd I think they only did this well because they had a memorable performance with the dress change. They sang good, too, but the song itself was mediocre. 1st Initially, this sounded just like another mediocre song, so I wasn't expecting it to win. However, the live performance came, and oh my gosh! She just closed the performances like her life depended on it. This just shot up to #1 in my personal ranking, and I am so happy it won. Her encore performance was so touching. If I wasn't so tired, I would be crying. Congratulations, Georgia! Well deserved. ~~~~ I just wanna address how awful the show was overall. It's like the Maltese broadcaster wanted this done and over with... a burden to be more specific. - First off, the graphics. Bubbles? Couldn't they have just re-used the toothpaste graphics in place of the bubbles in those scenic shots? I'd like some consistency. - The presenters were not engaging and perhaps incompetent. The female presenter accidentally spoiled the last set of points. - The postcards were nothing special. It's just the contestants singing for a little bit and then a group of people in a random place in Malta. - Poli Genova was the only good interval act, although it bothered me that she performed in between the countries' performances. The other interval acts ranged from okay to not as okay. - The presentation of results was not satisfying... at least the first part. Maybe it's because of a lack of tense background music (which came later). - The "expert" votes... why did we have expert votes? - The suspense of the last part of voting was ruined by the female presenter. - My favorite part of the show was the end, when Mariam had to perform again to end the show, I felt genuine emotion and friendship among all the participants when they sang with her. I may not have understood her language, but the connection was there. Overall, I'm glad I got up at 8 in the morning (I live in the USA) to watch this show. I sure hope to do it again next year.

ENTRIES AND RESULTS OPINION:
Serbia | 17th: Her vocals were on point, but I think the performance was pretty boring. "U La La" is a song that needs some movement like some dancers or even backing vocalists. I think the stage was pretty empty during her performance. This place was not deserved for her in my opinion.
Cyprus | 16th: It was a pretty cool performance. The only problem I can see in it (appart from some lyrics) is the fact that there is a point in which the vocals start to go worse (probably he was tired because of the dancing). It was pretty underrated.
Israel | 15th: I don't really have anything to say about this one. Their voices were good and I really liked the last part, but I think their place was deserved.
Ukraine | 14th: It was an interesting performance. I really liked that umbrella that was onstage and the mimes. Still, along with Israel, I think this was a deserved place.
Albania | 13th: I extremely loved this performance. Her vocals were on point but what I didn't like about this one is the public, there were just looking as if they had seen an alien. The background was great. I think it would've done better if she had moved a bit as well. Underrated as hell.
FYR Macedonia | 12th: This was a good performance but it was obvious that it was going to flop.
Poland | 11th: She sang pretty well and I really disliked her song before the contest but now I like it even more. I loved the final part of the performance. Underrated.
Ireland | 10th: The same as Poland, the performance made me like the song when I didn't even like it before the contest. Even though I feel this is the right place of Ireland. I didn't like her boots though. Irish sounded very beautiful.
Bulgaria | 9th: I expected Bulgaria to finish much lower. For me, it was just a song that didn't stand out. Her vocals weren't really good though.
Netherlands | 8th: I loved this performance! Their dances and their voices were perfect. Too bad they were much higher at the beggining and ended this place.
Belarus | 7th: Okay. I really dislike the song mainly due to the lyrics, but the performance was really good.
Malta | 6th: The performance was very energetic and at least she moved across the stage. I do like the song and she is a really good singer. Maltese people may be crying because she didn't end up higher. I would have placed her higher as well oops.
Australia | 5th: Other than the song being good, her voice was pretty good, there is not much to comment about this one.
Russia | 4th: Extremely overrated in my opinion. Her carpet dresses and aluminum foil crowns were pretty ugly and her performance was too boring. I really liked the song but the performance was a dissapointment.
Italy | 3rd: YES! It was my second place. With the song and artist, the performance didn't really need anything else. Fiamma was amazing! So happy for her place. At the end I was hoping for her to win.
Armenia | 2nd: I've never wanted Armenia to win so bad. After Italy was announced and Armenia and Georgia were left I was wanting the girls to win (and they weren't even my winners). The dancers and the clothes change was amazing!
Georgia | 1st: Even if I don't really like the song, it deserves its victory and I understand why did she win. Her voice was so clear and the performance didn't need anything else than her. Congratulations!OTHERS: As long as I love Malta, I think the show itself was horrible but don't just blame it on the broadcaster. I also think it was the fault of the change of supervisor. Still, the audience was pure shit and they were disrespecting everyone giving the votes and the kids. Like, Malta received a lot of sets of 1 point and they were booing so loud. I can remember, almost at the end, Georgia received 12 points again and, after hearing the people booing, Mariam was like "come on...".But there were some other good things. I remember a kid that was close to Belarus in the green room which was jumping and screaming every time Belarus received 12 points.I also remember some girls trying to touch some of those annoying dancers with their flags but they couldn't reach them.It was a dissapointment of edition.MY TOP 17 PERFORMANCES 01. Meh again they voted for voice and not for song. If you want win JESC send singer who can sing high notes. She can sing but that song wasn't best from this strong year. I think Bulgaria got great song, it was sweet, memorable and it was really junior song. RIP i think they will withdraw together with Israel. I think next year would be in Armenia or in Russia cos i don't think that georgia will host it.
