Welcome to Widevision Song Contest! This is a guide of how to enter in WVSC.It contains also some information about voting and other stuff.
Getting Started
First of all,you have to pick a free country in the edition you want to enter.If you want to have more than one entry in an edition,you can host 5 National Finals so you can submit your personal entry and your National Final entry.
You can submit your entry by sending a private message ! Your message has contain these 4 steps,but if yo don't want want all these steps,just submit a country,artist & song.
SUBMISSIONS IN FORUMS ARE NOT COUNTED!!
- COUNTRY You have to choose a free country to participate. Some regions are recognized enough to participate.
- ARTIST You have to choose a singer or a group from the country you picked.There is no age limit and the artist can participate many times in the edition but if an artist participates in 3 editions (e.g.1,2,3),he will be able to participate again in edition 5. Also winning artists can't participate for one edition.
- SONG You have to choose a song for your entry. See the song rules below.
- YOUTUBE LINK By posting your comment or by sending your private message you must also send the youtube link of the song.WVSC is not responsible for bad quality of the song.
Rules for the song
- The song must be no longer than 6:30 minutes and not shorter than 1:30 minutes.It must be a Youtube video that contains the song.
- The song must have been released after January 1,1995.Be careful to this because if you do not see it,WVSC will decline your entry.WVSC is not checking the entries before the Semi-Finals.You are responsible for what you enter.
- Instrumental and songs from Eurovision Song Contest are not allowed to participate.
- Cover Versions are allowed to participate if you write in your message or in your comment that the song is a cover,and when you put also the link of the first song.

Voting
Participants have to vote in their Semi-Final or they will be disqualified.Everyone is allowed to vote with a youtube account older than 14 days,not only the users who participate.Users can not vote for their own song,but,they can vote for their own country,if someone else have submited a song with their country of course.If someone is caught to cheat by voting with multiple accounts,the user will be banned from the near future editions of the contest.Telling a friend or a relative who has a youtube account to vote is also cheating.
WARNING: YOU CAN ONLY VOTE BY POSTING A COMMENT IN THE VIDEO! NOT PRIVATE MESSAGES,NOT FORUM MESSAGES!
Your comment and your points will be always hiden.
