Welcome to the official announcement thread for Grand Fiesta Sirenforest 06! Ten acts will be competing for the golden ticket to represent Sirenforest in the sixth edition of the Fantasia Contest held in . All countries are invited to vote in the selection by giving , , - to the 10 songs.

Every day I will reveal an artist who will be competing in Grand Fiesta Sirenforest 06. I will not reveal the songs until all acts are revealed. It's to keep the suspense going. With that being said, the first artist competing in Grand Fiesta Sirenforest 06 is......

Lacuna Coil!


BIO: Based in Istacle, Lacuna Coil are one of the most popular bands in Sirenforest. Their biggest achievement was their song I Forgive (But I Won't Forget Your Name) becoming the national anthem of Sirenforest. For obvious reasons, that song won't be the song they're performing in Grand Fiesta Sirenforest 06. Cristina Scabbia has been doing beauty projects on the side and Andrea Ferro is the host of Big Brother Sirenforest. Both of the lead singers have duties that has prevented them from even considering participating in the Fantasia Contest. Hopefully GFS 06 can give them a bit of luck.

After Lacuna Coil was announced first, you're probably thinking "Will this NS only have rock songs?" The answer is "no". There are a few non-rock entries competing and we will reveal one of them now. The second artist competing in Grand Fiesta Sirenforest 06 is.....

Rykka!



BIO: Based in Densent, Rykka has had some decent success. She had a chart hit in Sirenforest called "Movies". We can confirm that Movies won't be the song she's performing in GFS 06. She said that she's very excited to compete even though she said there will be strong competition. We'll see how she'll do when her song is released after all artists are revealed.

Get Scared!


BIO: Like Tonight Alive, Get Scared are one of the few bands not based in Istacle. They are based in Lolokinne, which is a city that doesn't have many rock bands. They hope that they can get better reception than I See Stars and Tonight Alive if they win the NS. But we'll see when their song is released.

We're going to reveal a non-rock artist first, like we did yesterday. We were debating releasing the songs with every artist revealation but decided on revealing one song from a previously announced act the last two days a day (so either Lacuna Coil, Rykka, or Get Scared's song will be released today). Nikki Yanofsky!


BIO: Raised in Densent, Nikki is one of the high bets to win GFS 06 despite her song not being revealed yet. Her fusion of pop-jazz has made many Sirenforestians fall in love with her. We'll see how she does when the NS starts.
