Umm... well... as much I would love to join, at this point, I have to limit myself on how many contests I'm joining for similar reasons to your semi-inactivity, so I will still continue to spectate, just not participate. There isn't even an African country I'm interested enough in taking at the moment. Maybe someday, but certainly not now.
Thanks for the offer.

NIGERIA IS SO EXCITED TO ANNOUNCE THEIR SINGER FOR ASF 2! flagNigeria Nigeria's national broadcaster "Silverbird TV" Opened up submissions early on in January and recieved around about 8 songs to consider, they went through the average songs before they came across this one and found a true meaning in it. Using lyric's light "Forgive me Father" "Pray for me" and the true meaning of the story of the artist! It would of been stupid to of said no. So Silverbird TV would like to officially announce that Darey with Pray for Me which features The Gospel Choir of Soweto will be the official entrant to ASF 2 for Nigeria! We wish everyone the best of luck and go on Darey is supporting you all the way

SOMALIA'S ENTRY Somalia is very excited to reveal their entry for the 2nd African Song Festival! I started with 5 songs then narrowed it down to 2 it was a very close choice between Amaal Nuux and another some-what known singer Amaal Nuux Canadian- Somalian singer who just started recently when I was in the hard choice, I decided Mufasa because of how unique it is and it's meaning. enjoy and GL to the everyone!

Hasn't this been in top 10 in Africavision? Btw. are you really checking out every artist we send? huh? and huh? Amanda - My apologies, but he is correct. I cannot accept your entry. Fabbi is referring to a rule of this contest: the song cannot have been entered if it placed in the Top 10 of the Africavision Song Contest, which was the official contest before this one. Mufasa got 5th place in Africavision #40. The reason for this rule is to keep people from just sending all the most successful songs of Africavision into this one. Good news though, it looks like she has other songs to check out. Maybe "Last Ones" or "Who Are We?" www.youtube.com/channel/UCW9MLbcrRfQ59Imud6IT9og/videos

By the way, here is the official EGYPT entry for this edition of ASF: Amr Diab - Maak Alby (from 2:28+) (by the way, this will be the last edition I use Egypt. I just took it for the first edition to get things going so it will be open for picking after this)
