Because Azerbaijan was the 10/10 perfect host for this case Tbh I always had this thought but never asked. Was Armenia forced to withdraw from 2012, or they decided to withdraw by themselves? (I mean did something like Russia / Ukraine happened or not?) They decided to withdraw voluntarily. They apparentally withdrew for safety reasons, after the Azerbaijani president called them their main enemies. But Im pretty sure, if Armenia didnt withdraw, we would have a similar drama to this year. Wow, Portugal took over the lead in the betting odds.

"If Bulgaria wins, it's political because Kristian is Russian." This is why I don't want Armenia to win. As they host the competition, they are going to do the same thing just because they have a bad relationship with a special country *hides* no, Armenia would host it like any other country. Unlike Russia this year, Azerbaijan's act would not be banned and they'd actually be invited to participate, just like Armenia was in 2012. Actually, in JESC 2011 if I remember when Armenia hosted it, the head of the contest invited Azerbaijan Although in the end we know Azerbaijan wouldn't participate anyway (they'd probably withdraw early)

For me, I hope the Dutch or Azerbaijan to win but I reckon it will be Italy.

My top 26 of the final in brackets: position in my overall top 1. Hungary (3) 2. Italy (4) 3. Belgium (5) 4. Moldova (6) 5. Israel (9) 6. Bulgaria (10) 7. Azerbaijan (11) 8. Australia (12) 9. Portugal (13) 10. Croatia (14) 11. Norway (15) 12. Ukraine (16) 13. Cyprus (19) 14. Sweden (25) 15. Belarus (26) 16. UK (27) 17. France (28) 18. Denmark (30) 19. Greece (34) 20. Netherlands (35) 21. Armenia (36) 22. Poland (37) 23. Germany (38) 24. Austria (39) 25. Romania (40) 26. Spain (42) As you can see there were better options for me in the final, and especially the fact that 8 out of my bottom 10 are in the final, while my top 2 failed, is annoying me. But I'm still looking forward to the final, as still some great songs are present, and also tipped to do well.

I don't want the Portuguese song to win. I just want for Portugal to win. They've had a longer wait than Finland. I think it's time.
