FIRST ROUND - LAST SERIES  Welcome back to "I Giovani cantano per San Marino"! You are going to discover the last series of 8 songs in competition. You know now that 24 songs have been pre-selected but only one is going to represent San Marino at IMF #40! But before that, let's listen to our weekly introducing song. This time, a very young singer called Melissa Perez is going to sing "Alice e il Blu" by Annalisa. I think that she might be a future popstar...

Congratulations to the winners of their battles! All of them are qualified for the second round. Now we know 8 of the qualified songs, and we will know 4 more qualified songs at the end of the vote (unless there are draws, because a song needs to win its battle to be qualified). But has you already know, more songs will be also qualified. How? Very simple. The San Marinese selection committee will give wild cards for a few songs that won't qualify directly. The saved songs will be revealed then the second round of battles will begin. Let's have a look on the calendar. You will have until Sunday 19:00 CET to vote, then we will reveal the saved songs on Sunday evening and finally the first series of the second round will begin next Monday.
