I haven't listened to the song yet. Will do so when more countries have decided their acts. But just throwing it out there that 30 of 73 people voted Rykka as in 2016. So my question to you guys: what makes this better than 2016? Here's to hoping this is better and is staged well and doesn't incorporate chicken-squatting - I wanna see Switzerland back in the final!

It was my second favourite in the NS. It's really good and it's different from the last years coming from Switzerland. The staging is simple but I really love it. I really really really hope that Switzerland can qualify for once.

"Stones" (acsheli) is pretty much a very uptempo song, performed by two charismatic brothers (even though the girl is the singer, I know I know) and it manages to grab you from the first hook. Additionally, the chorus is insanely catchy while the staging is very simple, but fitting. You can compare the intro with a Twenty One Pilots kind-of song - and that's what hooks people up from the beginning, while the transitions between the verses towards the chorus change the key significantly, from a slower, more chill version to a rather more powerful structure, which increases the memorability.
My point of view regarding this song? (yeah, late, I know, don't kill me)
Switzerland was always a hit or miss for me. As much as I utterly disliked or hated some songs they've sent in the past, they always managed to deliver some little gems throughout the 21st century. This one, in my point of view, is probably one of them. Stones is that kind of song I'd jam on a daily basis and wouldn't get bored of it. And coming from a country like Switzerland, I'm honestly surprised in a good way. Good job! The only touch I'd put against it is the vocal performance. She still really needs to work on it as I don't think she's reaching the high notes properly and it sounds broken in some parts. Otherwise, I can't wait to see their delivery in Lisbon.

That'll be for Switzerland this time. They're absolutely lit and the live performkance is amazing. The live vocals get from me, the melody gets 10 pts, and the lyrics get (Which is well above average, but seems like it's a bad thing compared to the other criterion scores.) Great one, Switzerland. Well done. Now go fight for the top 10.
