1. Do you think depression is laughed at?
Yes, I think a lot of people undermine the fact that depression is an actual illness and not just someone 'feeling down'. It actually equates to a large portion of a person's life actually feeling as if they're self-deprecating/worthless/trash etc.
2. Do you have depression?
Yes, I have clinical depression.
3. Are you on a registered watch for medical help?
Yes, I went to see a Doctor today as since returning to the UK, something called a 'fall back' or 'flair' is coming over me and I'm starting to feel touches of my depression from the past and starting to feel doubtful of myself.
4. Have to contemplated or attempted suicide?
At the moment I was attempting suicide my sister saw me and ran towards me to stop me. Other than that, I've considered suicide 7 times.
5. Do you know or have been told what could be the factor to why you suffer depression?
I was told today that a massive portion of my depression now in my adulthood could be to do with finding my sister dead and that I can't shift that image away.
Other factors are to do with my anxiety, my distrust to people in general because of being bullied at school, my physical appearance and weight and feeling ugly, being unable to be employed in the UK but perfectly hired in Asia for 5 years.
But one of my biggest demons is inside of me and in my brain and that's my epilepsy. I hate being epileptic and have the wish I could tear it out of my head.
How am I being treated? - music therapy (making personal playlists on spotify), writing, playing piano and my new vegan diet (suggested by my neurologist) which has in 2017 proven to help boost the control of over 1000 epileptics to 100% control of seizures.
