In my original post I asked did anyone actually like it from the first listen? I no alot of people have had to listen to it loads to appreciate it. Ppl at home and Jury's here it once. There not necessarily eurovision fans like us. Anyway I'm not going to bother to comment no more on this issue as I'm not coming across as a villain. Others are aloud to call songs trash and are left alone but me it's different. That's fine. Personally I really liked it on the first listen but it grew off me over time so I'm not really that upset over it NQing. Everyone sees it differently and we could come up with logical reasons why every country NQd, but that doesn't mean we can't still be sad for the NQing songs that we liked.  On that note... On that note tulia was a song I didn't like on the recording. But listening to the rehearsals and last night it green on me and I did think it woukd sneak in |

No one should call any entry, any country trash. Getting into this mindset is the wrong way and you just offend everyone by trying to stubbornly attack the Portuguese artist and song. Again if you read my main post I asked a question I put one line and said I'm not going into that again but ok..... whatever. Might just come off here. Not a friendly community at all |

Portugal didn't qualify because Europe is tasteless and that's the tea What if Portugal was the 11th place country (that missed out by 2 pts) that's your opinion but your in a very lonely club.... Alot of people didn't like it quite clearly. If Europe is tasteless then you must hate the ten that went through... are you sure this is the lonely club and not many people like that song? Because MV has around 40k/45k likes and around 9k dislikes. And that is a big margin Also if you are wondering, Aless' post wasnt serious  |

Again read.....someone called the Estonia song trash but that's fine but I say the same u all jumped on me. Some of you have been swearing but that's fine. But MY OPINION that I wasn't sharing is not aloud I respect all your opinions but I asked a question and again not aloud. (granted I like the Estonia song but it is too generic and his vocals are getting worse and didn't deserve going through last night) But yeah have fun |

Your opinion should be limited only to you and literally no one else, while others have the entire freedom to love, stan and support whoever they want, be it a song you despise or not. Don't come with analogies from the online world knowing that a huge majority of them would probably be stanning only the poppy sounds such as Cyprus, Switzerland or Malta and not go beyond other borders. Regarding  Portugal, you're quite wrong. You may know people disliking Portugal, but they're like what, 0,1% of the whole fandom? I followed Telemoveis' evolution throughout FdC and Eurovision, from its release and up to now, and there's more which seem to dig this stuff rather than avoid it like plague. And no, not natives. Actual other europals like you, me and this whole community basically. Hell, Portugal was among most of us a huge favorite since the very beginning, some of us even had it in their top 3 since it won its national selection. It's normal to be absolutely upset of your favorites failing, we've all been there - and hell I'm among one of them. But it doesn't give you the rights to say "it's such a trashy song, which barely grew in people's eyes and which is weird, didn't stood out and the singer is so, so and so". To begin with, you have no fucking clue about Conan's life. You're basically labeling him after just a few appearances and that's pretty much it. So... who's the one in the wrong, us or you? Our community isn't perfect, but we learn from mistakes and we hope you do it too. But if you behave like you don't get anyone's point of view and expect that your opinion should be the superior one, you've certainly chosen the wrong forum. You should've just kept it nice and simple without shaming Portugal's entry or act in itself. Unpopular opinions as unpopular opinions, but your choice of words sound in a whole different way than you may try to portray. And it certainly ain't a nice one. |
