Hi. I'm new to this forum and I'm not sure how it works so sorry if I put this on the wrong place.

Cyprus went experimental for once after a while and we achieved a 13th place! Not bad at all. However, I can say I had expected a bit more, after my semi final result. The 2nd place there was a really pleasant surprise to me; especially the fact I received at least point from every single voter makes me feel very honoured.

Special thanks to Belgium for the in both semi final and the final, as well as to Kazakhstan for the semi final!

Concerning the winner, I should of course congratulate Germany for their first victory ever and basically for managing not to end up in 2nd place for the 7th time Unfortunately the winning song is not my cup of tea; I'd rather have seen Chile winning it from the TOP 3 but nevertheless, congratulations! Also well done to my partner, ferrygraf for the exceptionally good 3rd place!

See you everyone in Berlin!

What are 'normal' songs anyway?

Hayastantzi92 I really hope you'll keep sending whatever you want to this contest, and won't be bothered to assess whether it's 'normal' or not. For me, musical diversity is the biggest joy in song contests, and Armenia is always one of the countries that brings just that. Even when results don't always come, I think this contest would lose a lot of its richness if everybody would always jump through the pop music hoop. (Which is, btw, not to say that pop music is bad, just that you need different genres to make a good contest).

I'm actually really pleased with my 16th place, as this is my first top 20 position since I won, 7th in the Semi by 3 points is a bit precarious. Thanks to everyone who voted for India, also 8th in the "televote" was a nice surprise. I actually much prefer this voting presentation, it makes the results more exciting right up until the end 

Love the winner, finally Germany gets a victory with one of the best German songs sent, congrats   I really like Austria even if I didn't vote for it, but I do find Chile overrated, probably because her other songs are better in my opinion. Japan (honestly thought this would win) and Slovakia are too underrated

I mean if he really complained about bad results but he always keep sending the same then why is he expecting more?
