PM CLINTON GIVES SERIOUS SPEECH IN CAPITAL

Prime Minister - Eldance native - Hillary Clinton gave a very strong message in Beízhín today about the MZA area currently held by the rebel party ONP (One Nation Party) who wish to eradicate what they have named as "infected insects" who they believe have no right to live in the country Shinkoyu. However, PM Clinton gave a strong speech to the people today to increase morale and take away some of the piercing fear that has loomed over the country for the past few weeks.

PM Clinton said in her speech clearly - "This nation is filled people who are proud of their hospitable and welcoming nature. I am not a native, but your people chose me to serve and protect. So that is what I will do. You want to play your silly games and make the people scared. Let me tell you this. It takes two to tango and we are ready to step to the floor and dance. We will play fire with fire, but trust me now. We will win."

The MZA is currently being occupied by the ONP and is where the natives of Engju immigrant nationality live and where some are Móngólyì natives. The region is currently being held without food, water, internet or electricity. There have been multiple sightings of terrorism in the area and the Government know about propaganda being conducted into schools, with students being enforced to recite back and sing songs about killing other people of Shinkoyu.

Students of Engju descent are being forced to speak out of their native language and use a language that is unrecognisable or unknown in all of the rest of Shinkoyu.

The Government have made the decision to start taking land back and giving it back to the Engju and Móngólyì people, planning has begun with the help of King Yangkwang to guide the operations.

Outbreak of hyper-potent strain of heroin in Tattenham, Wyvernbourne
Wyvish Police have informed the public of a strain of heroin being illegally sold around the Greater Tattenham area, known as H-212.

Although the sale of any Class A drug is illegal in Wyvernbourne, the Wyvish Police have been dealt the difficult task of eradicating a newly developed strain of heroin estimated to be 212 times as potent as regular heroin in the Greater Tattenham Area. The drug is known to take both a powder and injectable form and comes with an array of fatal effects.

Reports of H-212 victims indicate that the drug is capable of killing a human in just a few hours, explaining why H-212 has been the most expensive drug in the country due to its incredibly high potency. The drug is sold in small amounts and has caused victims to seizure, pass out, vomit blood, and is even capable of turning veins black and lifeless. So far, around 75 victims of H-212 have been discovered in the following municipalities, as well as 36 deaths likely to be linked to consumption of the drug.


The following counties have reported deaths: Ammilly, Blueghley, Catiwall, East Clapton, North Clapton, South Clapton, West Clapton, Nanibeux, Pasham-Polly, Riconash, Tattenham, Wimbrough, West Winston, and Yorkers.
Other counties at risk include: Felicity, Garnesque, Hartford & Lamperne, Hexius, Hurtmore, Jacob, Kentishbrooke, Leonora, Leonora's Meander, Reigate & Redhill, Rockley, Rockley Beach, Rosemary & Osborne, Stardew, Tattenham Corner, East Winston and Woodmansterne.

Wyvish police plea that if you are to see anyone consuming drugs of any kind, especially H-212, please contact the local authorities as a rehabilitation programme has been instated to aid those who have fallen to addiction to the drug.

New Union's Schoolar Schedules To Change?

   Recently there has been protests from students against the current schoolar schedules in New Union. The main reason for the protests is the fact that the schoolar year starts in the middle of September and ends in the middle of June. The students state that there isn't good conditions to academic sucess when June is becoming too hot in New Union. The students want the schoolar year to start earlier and end earlier so that they can avoid the high temperatures of June.

   The government is still yet to provide an answer to this protests but the changes are unlikely to happen this schoolar year that is starting next month.

ATTACK IN SJÓBORG LEAVES 15 DEAD, 30+ INJURED

Last night, at 21:30 DST, shots were fired in the center of Dýria's second largest city, Sjóborg. The first shots were heard around a Fordian restaurant, where people were screaming for help and were hiding. Based on eye-witness reports, there was a lone gunman and about 20 shots were fired in a span of 10 minutes. Dýrian police were immediately dispatched to the horrific scene in the city to search for the culprit. After a standoff with the police, the killer decided to turn the gun on himself, although he did not die at the scene and is currently in police custody.

15 people were confirmed to have died in the attack. 13 of them were Dýrians, with about 9 of them from Sjóland alone, 1 Fordian tourist was killed, and 1 Decorian. Over 30 are believed to be injured, with only a few suffering from serious injuries.

The motive was unclear until police raided the killer's house in Sjóborg today. The killer was 37 year-old Beinir Finnsson, and the police have found that he was a member of the far-right Sjólandic nationalist group known in Everish as the Sjólandic Liberation Group. The group has been designated as a threat by the Dýrian government and Sjólandic regional council in recent years for their anti-Dýrian views and extreme nationalism. In 2007, the Dýrian government foiled a plot by the group to attack Dyflinnjaborg and Sjóborg which would have resulted in a number of casualties. In Beinir's diary, he writes how he believed that the official government recognized referendum on Sjóland's future which was held in 2015, was illegitimate. After a huge turnout in the referendum, Sjólanders voted 73% against independence, and after the election of Ingibjörg Egilsdóttir in 2016, she has given more recognition and autonomy to the region. He was also against the recent legalization of euthanasia, and this was one of his motives.

However, the killer rejects what president Egilsdóttir has done for the region and has publicly stated that it was a cover-up. He believed that Dýria was illegally occupying the region, despite citizens there wishing to remain a part of Dýria. He was arrested in 2007 after his plot was foiled, alongside other members of the group. Today, many of the remaining members, which number at around 25, were arrested as well. This is the worst attack on Dýrian soil in 20 years.

The Dýrian Department of Foreign Affairs has advised that any tourists visiting the city in the coming days must be very vigilant and be aware of their surroundings. Flights into the city have resumed, although the government has announced that today would be a day to remember the victims, and all flags are to be flown at half-mast. President Ingibjörg Egilsdóttir was in Decoria at the time of the incident, and has had to postpone her NU trip until September. She stated on her arrival to Dýria that she is shocked and disgusted that such an attack could occur in 2018. Innocent people going about their daily lives had to suffer at the hands of a sick individual who uses violence to portray his beliefs. We must now as a nation look towards a peaceful future, where we all live in a safe nation, and not look back in anger. Elín Æbjörgsdóttir, mayor of Sjóborg has stated that she is disgusted and that this individual is a disgrace to her region and to everyone living there.

The referendum planned in the district of Milnev and the territory of Eastpoint has now official results, revealed
by the government of the Eastpoint Territory, before starting, some statistics:

6,243,112 • The official amount of inhabitants living in Eastpoint.
2,534,223 • The official amount of inhabitants living in the city of Milnev.
5,241,892 • The amount of inhabitants which were able to vote for this referendum.

For this referendum, only people over 18 were able to vote.

Question 1 "Est-ce-que vous acceptez un changement de nom du territoire d'Estpoint à Nouvelle Alkyrie ?" Would you accept a name change of the territory of Eastpoint to New Alkyria ? Without much surprise, the YES is winning this question, receiving 71,6% of the votes. The NO only received an amount of 26,3%. 2,1% of the votes were invalid or blank.
Question 2 "Est-ce-que vous supportez le fait qu'Estpoint / Nouvelle Alkyrie devienne une république autonome au sein de la Fédération ?" Would you support that Eastpoint / New Alkyria became an Autonomous Republic within the Federation ? This was the most important question of this referendum, as it statued with the future of the territory: On this question, the YES team received a smashing victory, with 88,7% of the votes. The NO team received 10,1% while the blank/invalid votes are for 1,2% of the votes.
Question 3 "Est-ce-que vous souhaitez un changement du drapeau d'Estpoint / Nouvelle Alkyrie ?" Would you wish a flag change of Eastpoint / New Alkyria ? Tough results for this one, as both sides were close to win, but afterall, and once again, the YES side managed to win, with a total of 53,4% of the votes. The NO team received 42,3% of the votes The blank/invalid votes are represented by 4,3% of the votes.
Question 4 " Est-ce-que vous accepteriez une fusion du District de Mlinev et de Estpoint / Nouvelle Alkyrie en cas de victoire du Oui a la première question ?" Would you accept a fusion of the District of Milnev and of Eastpoint / New Alkyria, in case of a victory of the Yes at the first question ? The inhabitants of the District of Milnev have rejected this question, with the NO side receiving the total of 71,5% of the votes. The YES side received 27,9% of the results, while the blank/invalid camp are represented by 0,6%.

Therefore, to be able to pull this territorial transition perfectly,
the Lakadamian government have decided to make these changes eligible from the 1st October 2018.

Therefore, from the 1st October of 2018:
• Eastpoint will be renamed into New Alkyria,
• They will become an Autonomous Republic within the Lakadamian Federation,
• And they will have their flag changed to this one:



However, Milnev will not be a part of this Autonomous Republic.

 STATE ELECTIONS RESULTS 

Seeburg - Yesterday the Moly-Boronian people voted on their State parliament. The parliaments  of all six state were elected as well as the Regional parliaments and the Senates of the Free Cities Thul, Cer and Seeburg. 652 seats were up for grabs in the state parliaments and over 2000 seats in the Regional Parliaments and Senates.

Halo-Kariteria

110 seats were to be distributed in the Landtag of Halo-Kariteria.  Six parties gained seats in the Landtag: the CDP (34 seats), the SPMB (22 seats), the LINKE (17 seats) the AfA (15 seats), the PLD and the Green Party (both 11 seats).

Moly & Boronia

156 seats were up for grabs in the Landtag of Moly & Boronia. The were distributed as followed: SPMB (52), CDP (37), Green Party (21), LINKE (19), AfA (15) and PLD (12).

Palladia

68 seats in the Palladian Landtag were distributed like this: SPMB (21), LINKE (15), CDP (12), Green Party (10), AfA and PLD (both 5).

Rhudenia

The Landtag of Rhudenia had 110 seats allocated: Green Party (33), CDP (21), PLD (19), SPMB (17), LINKE and CSP (both 10).

Thalia

129 seats were allocated for the Thalian Landtag: PLD (35), SPMB(26), CDP (22), Green Party (17), CSP (15) and LINKE (14).

Ytterbia

The Landtag of Ytterbia had 79 seats to be distributed: CDP (17), PLD (16), CSP (13), SPMB (10), LINKE, Green Party (both 9) and AfA (5).

The CDP has the majority in 2 states, the SPMB as well. The Green Party and PLD have a majority in 1 state. The former governing party CSP dropped out of three parliaments completely and has no more majority.  Both LINKE and AfA have no majorities and can therefore only be junior partners in coalitions. Every state parliament also lost a one-party-majority, meaning that more coalitions are to be formed in Moly-Boronia. 

REFERENDUM RESULTS IN SEEBURG

Seeburg - The residents in the capital city of Moly-Boronia also had to vote on the referendum whether or not Seeburg will be reinstated as a state or remain a region of Moly & Boronia. This was a very heated topic in the city and this is shown in the result of the referendum.

The citizens of Seeburg were asked: Should Seeburg be reinstated as a full state and have the same rights as the other six states?

58,19 % of voters voted for YES
41,81 % of voters voted for NO

This means that Seeburg will become the seventh state of Moly-Boronia.

Rock in Rio to happen in October!
The festival, celebrated in Rio de Fevereiro, will welcome more than 50 artists from all over the world

For the first time since 2013, the Rock in Rio festival is coming back to the capital city of Aquia, Rio de Fevereiro, where the first Rock in Rio festival was ever held. This year, the festival will be hosted in two different stages:

The world stage, consisting of artists with an international repercussion or other foreign artists with a big repercussion in Aquia, such as Tasha Tah and Bella Goldwin.

The alternative stage, which as its name explains, will be an alternative stage in which some other artists will perform while the show on the world stage happens. Unlike the world stage, the show for the alternative stage doesn't happen only in the afternoon and night, but it also starts much earlier. The entrance to this stage is completely free.

Niol crowds celebrate as Drukanafiest gets underway

Today, crowds of Niol people gathered in the streets of the capital Drukana to celebrate the beginning of Drukanafiest - an annual week-long music festival celebrating a variety of genres, but most prominently folk music stemming from the festival's history. The festival first took place in 1965, and has since become a highlight of the year for Niol people celebrating not only music, but also dance and in recent years, food, drink and much more. While the festival tends to host a line-up consisting of mostly Niol performers, Niolskiaj's debut in the Fantasia Contest in early 2018 has inspired an influx of performers from around the world - particularly neighbouring Flirskmasto - to take to various stages as the week progresses.



While the festival previously exclusively celebrated folk music, over recent years other genres have been welcomed to the festival and as such, names such as Niolfiestyval participants Cibo Matto and WILDES have been confirmed for the line-up. They are joined by a host of other artists, both known and unknown, ranging from Niol-language folk group Irdorath, to former Flírsk Fantasia Contest participant Yael Naim, to a variety of ethno-folk performers. A spokesperson for NN (Net Niolskiaj) allegedly claimed that the continuously growing popularity of the festival around the country, as well as its spread to artists worldwide, may well influence future Fantasia Contest entry selections.

The opening day of the festival alone has been a huge success for organisers and local businesses - with restaurants, cafés and pubs reaping the rewards of the beginning of another successful festival.

GOVERNMENT TAKES ACTION

The Shinkuánese Government have decided to enter the part of country currently occupied by rebels of the One Nation Party with use of the country's army forces to break the borders and close down the occupation that is being held.

Total figures are unofficial with no confirmations yet, but it is feared that up to 10,000 people - or possibly more - could be either seriously injured or killed.

Last night, one army managed to enter a concentration camp and arrested 37 people who were inside the camp as members of the party. Inside the camp, there were hundreds of people who were famished and very ill, some with long sustained injuries. It has been confirmed this morning from the army general, that 552 people have been killed at that camp, the reason given from one of the arrested detainees -  "they were against the ideas of the One Nation Party and were placed there for treason and slander. They did not agree with us and we did not agree with their way of thinking, so they deserved punishment".

The army are looking for the main opposition of the ONP and have sectors on stand-by for rescue operations of people to take back to the capital Beizhín for treatment at the country's largest hospital.

The army recused 4963 people last night, all who have been taken back to hospitals in the capital city.

The searches are still on-going, with threats sent to the capital from the ONP that they should "fear the safety and lives of people in the country, you have disturbed us and so you deserve to pay for your ignorance".

Shinkoyu's Government has raised the terrorism level to Severley High (6).
